vs Meyer: 0-4
vs Saban: 1-4
vs Richt: 3-5
I think Fulmer was a good coach but do not see where he is in the same category as a Neyland, and that is my point.
Actually, you counted the tie. Without the forfeit, Fulmer was 10-5-1. And that was the first time Bama had been on probation, so "again" isn't really correct.
Wait, he did beat Saban once in 2001 with Kelly Washington. He only played Meyer 3 times losing all 3 games and he might have beat Richt twice in eight years. Considering that, he just had better talent that the other teams he faced.

Nope. You are leaving out how Fulmer beat Bama with the NCAA and got y'all on probation for cheating. That's the 11th win. I also enjoyed how the Vols beat Bama 7 consecutive years and 9 out of 10 times while Fulmer was the coach.
That's cool, and good for you and your enjoyment.
While I totally appreciate the fact that Fulmer's streak was the high water mark for UT in the TSIO series, Bama has won 7 or more in a row over Tennessee 4 different times (including the present), so forgive me if I'm not overly impressed.

Great. In more than 100 years of UT football, only Neyland and Dickey didn't lose their final game against Alabama.
But Bear lost his last game to Tennessee. In fact, you could make the argument that Tennessee killed him.
The Tide was undefeated and rolled into Knoxville one of the top ranked teams in the nation. Tennessee beat them and it crushed the old man so much, he lost 3 more games including to Southern Miss. Tide was relegated to the Liberty Bowl where they barely beat Illinois. He retired and then died of a broken heart less than 3 months later.
Dickey was only at Tennessee 6 years and he went 3-2-1 vs Bama including winning the last 3 with the last one being a 41-14 mudhole stomping.
