I wish he would have taken the bandwagon/fair-weather fans with him to LA. That's just me though.
Just the idiots leaving would be fine with me.
It seems that 85% of posters on the football board should fall into the 'not allowed to breed' category.
But, as my favorite mod told me, 'the booger eaters are allowed to post, too'

Most thought Chizik was a freaking joke of a hire. A couple seasons later, he has things turned the right direction. Two things to remember:
1. Auburn was left much better stocked when Tuberville got the boot, than when Kiffin left UT.
Until he got to the SEC, and the home of almost unlimited resources and TV coverage, what did Nick Saban do?? I'll give you a hint, NOT JACK.
"MSU won the bowl game giving the Spartans an overall record of 10–2 for the 1999 season. It would be the best season in terms of wins for the Spartans since 1965, and it would see the Spartans reach their highest ranking since the 1966 team"
He was also 9-2 at Toledo when they won the MAC
Saban didn't become that "wanted" coach, until he hit LSU and recruited the South. Then EVERYONE knew about him, and he became a household name. Name one time while he was at Michigan State that we knew about him here in the SEC?? Not once.
The point he's trying to convey is that Saban won at Michigan St. before coming to the SEC, Dooley struggled in the WAC
Ok, and yet there is significantly more resources at Michigan State than there ever will be at La. Tech. It's not like Dooley was the HC of Texas and couldn't win with their talent. Go look up Ruston, LS, and ask yourself who the heck would ever be successful there.
