You watch. We are going to not only beat and surpass Florida next year but we aren’t looking back for a while. We will be second in the East next year and competing with UGA for the title, not Florida. How many all told, I don't know, but Gators are abandoning the swamp it seems. One of them, a certain Jacob Copeland is likely headed our way via transfer portal.

Yup. Gator fans are idiots. Even my gator bud said that lol. They apparently think every coach will be Urban or Spurrier. And yet Mullen took a 4 win team and won TEN. Then 11...then the East...god they are stupid.Mullen was fired too early, imo. He had a bad half of the season. It happens.
And yet there’s still a solid chance they beat us next year.
The year is 2055, and the Florida Gators have hired Urban Meyer’s grandson, Suburban Meyer, in hopes of recapturing the coach’s historical run in Gainesville, some 40+ years ago. Suburban has a career record of 17-20 at Louisiana Tech, but before that he was a lawyer. He claims he will bring discipline to this once proud program by reintroducing proper shower etiquette. We shall see if a little shower is all the program needs to wash all the stench away. Since the firing of Dan Mullen in 2021, the Gators own a record of 7-26 against a team they annually counted as an automatic win, the Tennessee Volunteers. Meanwhile the Vols have won multiple national championships in each decade since and have become college’s newest dynasty ever since Nick Saban retired in 2025.Florida is 26-7 against us since 1984
What's the narrative then? Oh let me guess jimmies and joes? UT should've beaten Florida this season. So Florida pretty much does own UT at this point. 16 of last 17 and a 24 point loss this season pretty much qualifies UT of being Florida's gimme game.I don't buy in to the "Florida owns us" narrative. It's more that Spurrier started getting better recruits, then he got in Fulmer's head and just set up residency there. Since then, it's been a steady stream of bad coaching hires, high rated recruits recruited because of their stars instead of needs at positions where we were thin, toxic coaching demeanor. I see a big change in attitude of the players under Heupel. I think the table has turned.
Good thing YOU will never see the field of play and most likely never have !
Those are days best forgottenWe haven't had a quality good pouter since a former qb who took his pouts to Washington State and pouted on their bench this year after throwing a few picks, throwing a pick six here or there, etc.
I think he might have been most noted for pouting and throwing late. Of course, he started for us. His name might have been Geronimo - can't quite remember - those were dark days.
FL is in the heads of the fanbase - me included, no doubt. But in the heads of our 18-21 yr old players (where it counts btw)? doubtful
The wheels hadn’t fallen off UF yet when they played us. Our players and coaches don’t care about how butt hurt our fanbase is. They got beat that day because they couldn’t contain Jones and our offense hadn’t found it’s rhythm yet. Had nothing to do with previous players getting beatUF beat the crap out of us this year yet again. A terrible UF team that got boat raced by freaking South Carolina. I would be so sure that UF isn’t in this teams heads already.
Some of yall just love wallowing in misery amd pissing in parades..

Yeah, I spoke of the coach, not the players. A coach can have a detrimental affect on their players if the coach can't get out of their own mental block about a particular team. Once the dam bursts, Tennessee could very easily go on run like Florida has.FL is in the heads of the fanbase - me included, no doubt. I can only think of a couple times that we should have beaten them when we didn’t.And their wheels will be reassembled right around the time they play us next September. I wonder if any team in any sport has a team that causes a psychological meltdown the way Florida does for TN. I can’t think of any other scenario where one team completely forgets how to play while the other team plays it’s best game of the year, gets all of the breaks, gets all of the calls, wins on Hail Marys and so on year after year for 20, 30 years in a row. I’m getting angry as I type this. This is why I hate Florida the most. They have been so beatable for so many years. Some years they almost beg us to win and we aren’t interested. Then, you know, the thing happens.
