Certainly valid takes - however,

knowing Mullen had this Pre - Madonna quality about him.

The administration needed to back his play and jump in there - prick or not. Part of his downfall was floating between qb's there - at a time he didn't need to float.
Never good when you substitute for the starting qb - after he has led you to big wins over Tennessee and almost beating Alabama. There was no need for a two qb plan at that time.

Then the team quit on him, then the admin quit on him - agreed, We all know that his quote about recruiting was tongue in cheek and taken out of context - shame on him for not clarifying - what he was actually
saying was that the time for questions about recruiting will be later in the season please, we have too many fires burning, to be discussing recruiting with you knuckleheads in the media right this minute.

The perception was that he was saying something all together different. He also was the guy who chose the perfectly wrong time to say he wanted the stadium full of covid spreaders last year. He is a prick, but so was Spurrier.

The whole thing was handled very poorly imho.

Florida went the Tennessee route = we will see how that works out but right this minute it isn't looking that great.
At lease you guys still have the majority of the market on Jorts and mobile homes - so there's that.

Yea this new coach shooing away former committed players looks like an idiot too. He's not replacing them with better. He's basically just said f this year. Bold strategy.

If I remember right, mama was wearing a UT hat but also a Bama shirt. I think she would have been happy with either us or Bama. So I wouldn’t say it’s a lock he is coming here.

It’s mind boggling to me that UF is not the #1 team in the SEC every year. With the elite in-state talent and great weather, there is no excuse for them not to be. I never thought that I would see them fall as far as they have, but I’m enjoying it.

Must be like 2000 players in transfer portal? Why do UT fans automatically think they are bound to come to Knoxville the minute they announce?

I remember a time not too long ago, that most people thought he was the perfect fit for Florida, including most of the media (Finebaum, etc).;)
