Paid $2.95 at Costco two days ago. I get between 28-30 on the highway in my big old fat man car. Read and believe what you want to but the big oil companies are the ones putting the screws to us. It's nice that the American oil companies like to make the big profits off our backs. **** 'em.

This ugly duckling is my new secret weapon against rising gas. No it isn't a 40mpg juggernaut but it is better than my 16 mpg truck.

3.59 Sunday. 3.64 is average around me. Milo said its the dollar that is losing value, not an increase in price.

So what you are saying is that the Fed printing all that "Free" money didn't really solve anything.

Who woulda thunk that you can't print money out of thin air without consequences.

It's a combination of decreasing value of the $, increasing oil prices ($108.03 this morning vs. $99 at the end of the year), and Iran being an ass, which is driving speculators.

Exactly. I'm saying that bailouts and government loans don't mean jack. Hitting the debt ceiling is not an accomplishment. Living off of welfare is not an accomplishment. At the end of the day it is helping no one and hurting all of us. You do not spend money you don't have. It's that simple.

Volvo 940. Gets about 24 mpg. Not bad for such a heavy car but I wish it got more. Does pretty well to Knoxville.

Be prepared Disney vacationers. Gas stations around Disney are charging an average of $5.69 a gallon and it's not even summer yet.
