Hey Volnation,

Just looking for some unique ideas. Planning to do something this year to make GameDay more fun with my household in lieu of going to games (I differed to next year).

I'd like to do a GameDay menu for each game but am struggling for ideas. I would like for it to be more like an insult to the opponent than celebrating their culture.

Examples:
Gamecocks- Chicken Wings (obviously)
Georgia- Hot dogs, corn dogs, chex mix muddy buddies (aka puppy chow)
Gators- Alligator jambalaya (cajungrocer.com)
Razorbacks- Pulled pork
Wildcats- possibly catfish nuggets

What ideas can you contribute? (Especially for the following)
Mizzouri
Alabama
Texas A & M
Auburn
Vanderbilt

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Missouri & Auburn - I soak chicken skewers in hot sauce and smoke ‘em. Call them “Tiger Tails.” Also Auburn you could smoke a chicken or a turkey (eagle reference.)

Never done it, but for A&M you could do a “low country” flavored boil with corn, potatoes, and beef & pork sausageS (symbolizes agriculture/farming.)

Vandy could be like a pineapple boat or something. They’re more of a dessert anyways. Also works: Cap’n crunch cereal although that’d make for a pretty poor game snack.7C72FF2A-BE2A-42F5-8ACA-63ADE1695D0F.jpeg

My good friends here on VN suggested brisket and wings. I’m doing just that. Brisket is on the smoker as we speak and the wings will be on the grill for the Noon games...

Here what I’m gonna do.
SC- ‘Boneless’ hot wings
Missouri - Tiger tail pretzels
Georgia - I like your hotdog/corn dog idea
Kentucky - fried catfish
Alabama- fried elephant ear pastries
Arkansas - sausage balls or anything with bacon
A&M - Mexican cornbread? Anything a farmer would eat which is anything I know lol
Auburn - not sure about this one
Vandy- jerky and pickled foods?
Florida- deep fried gator of course
that’s all I can come up with atm. If anyone has any better ideas I’m all ears

Krogers local butcher shop hot italian sausages. I'm not talking name brand, the ones my local store grinds out fresh, they're great!! Put em on buns, eat 'em with BBQ sauce, just eat em with mustard. Give 'em a shot sometime.
