Game time for Missouri game

Not only are Gary and verne biased, they really just suck at announcing. There were multiple times during the UGA vs FL game that they were wrong, behind in making a comment, mispronoucing names, wrong names all together, or just yapping about non game related bs, like how high vernes platform he stands on next to gary. If they spent as much time and effrot learning the guys names and commenting on the game as they did trying to be funny or discussing the rule book, they might be worth a flip.

I cant stand those guys

All I know is Id much rather not listen to Verne and Gary hating on UT. Besides calling everybody by the wrong name, they'll start laughing at something that was funny in 1937. They are the worst at being biased as well. Suck off Saban and whoever is good, and we could be playing well, tied or winning and they're talking about UF, Bama, UGA and how they hurt themselves into losing. These two old goons have to be the worst in the business.

They flip flop to much for me, tell it like you think instead of just going with the flow of the game, one minute you think they are saying good things about the team, and then they throw dirt in our face the next minute.:banghead2: The good old days turn the sound down and listen to John Wards play call, wish we could bring him back for our next NC run in 2016.:)

I think it could be a CBS. Missouri will be playing for the SEC East title and it should be a competitive game.

Anyone remember last time we didn't play on CBS the whole season?

Our game has huge meaning for Missou winning the Eastern Division. Ole Miss and Arky may not matter at all by then. I predict CBS at 3:30.

I still don't think we will be the noon game since SEC nation is in town for Mizzou

A bit more doubtful they'll go with Missouri when there are more preferential, as well as ranked, teams in play against conference teams.

It's about viewership and ratings, though. Not importance in a conference race.

Besides, going that route, both the Miss schools will still be at the very least in the running for the West when the scheduling decision is made this upcoming Monday. (Miss St is on bye so they'll still be ranked number 1 overall. Ole Miss will be in the top 10 again since either Notre Dame or Arizona State will lose, as will one out of Kansas State and TCU...and possibly Michigan State.)

Most won't like it but I wouldn't mind a noon or 4pm game. It's a long drive home and it's dangerous to try it after the night games. I'd just rather not stay in a hotel and waste my Sunday morning driving home.

Lol not that that is anyone's problem but mine....

Go Vols!

Night games, especially later kickoffs are real tough on us middle Tennessee boys looking at 3+ hour drive after the game

Miss. State vs Ole Miss is Nov. 29. I think CBS will pick this up. May not want to show Miss. schools two weeks in a row. Maybe we get Missouri vs TN on CBS at 3:30.

I dislike the noon kickoffs for the same reason. Coming from west TN it makes an early start.

Iron Bowl is the likely cbs game for that weekend. Egg Bowl will be ESPN primetime.

They'd also, though, be showing 2 Missouri games in a 6 day window (they have to broadcast the Arkansas-Missouri game on Fri, Nov 28).

Not sure why they'd want any more to do that than possibly show a much higher ranked Miss St or Ole Miss (both will likely be top 10 when the selection is made on Mon).

Someone else also brought up a good point that if at least Alabama or Auburn (or both) keep winning, then that game could be just as much for an SEC Championship berth (especially if Bama beats Miss St). CBS would love to justify taking the Iron Bowl over the Egg Bowl, so there's not even a guarantee they'd be taking either Miss school in back-to-back weeks, either.

Vols trivia thread worthy

Hasn't since CBS took over SEC first-selection broadcasting rights in 1996...mostly because of the UF-UT getting picked up by CBS a lot of this years.

2012 almost wasn't though, save for the team having a game against a #5 ranked UGA on Sept 29
