Even if the other team is better, I can’t see them just losing every game against these teams, because teams have off shooting night and things can go your way, or we can catch fire. Just like how we loss to Texas A&M and Miss State.

OU WBB forum is not as heavily visited as this site. They usually don’t post a game thread for their next game until the day before a game, so traffic is light so far for the Tenn game. It will pick up over the next few days. Thought it would be interesting for LV fans to peek in. So far there are some posts which are surprisingly worried about this matchup. As far as credentials, my first thought drifted towards politicians in general….not a lot of space between cheating and lies, almost seamless wouldn’t you think?

The others aren’t just better at times. Their systems are better, their kids play harder, and they have more pride.

With that being said I can see us winning a game because we really really need it but i could also see us losing the next 3. I truly hope im wrong as I would love to beat Vandy

If for some wild reason, the Lady Vols decide to fire CKC, I do not see them replacing CKC with Bayou Kim, as some suggest. She has a good thing going on at LSU and making over 3 million a year. However, CKC’s chair is warm, but she will not get fired. If they decide to pull the trigger, I would like for administration to consider Lawson and the coach at Vandy. One thing we do not need is a one-trick pony who only knows one way to play the game.

Mulkey went back to La. to revive her home state program and retire amongst her people, she is not leaving LSU at this stage of her career, not happening. Had Baylor come through with their promise to have her name on their new court she would have stayed there until the end imo.

Lawson is an excellent coach, UT would be in great hands with her at the helm, but it’s hard for me to see her leaving Duke where she is building. I could be wrong, when mother calls you home that is a strong motivation. Perhaps…if UT went full bore for her.

Now the big question, could UT poach Ralph from VD.? I know some on here believe UT can get any coach they want, but I’m not so sure that Ralph would make that move to East Tennessee from Vandy. It’s an interesting thing to consider from a possibility perspective I suppose. I‘d put it in the low probability category for now. She likely knows she is next in line one day at Uconn. The whole mother calling thing again.

The Vandy coach? 😂 the former UConn player come to Tennessee? She was cheering hard for SC when they hit that dreaded 3 point shot 2 years ago. She hates Tennessee with a passion. She would rather be unemployed before she took our coaching job lol

The reason I mentioned Lawson is because of her love and respect for Coach Summitt and the program she established at Tennessee. I know that the old Lady Vols hate the direction this program is headed. This program deserves better than it is receiving.
