GAME THREAD: @ Oklahoma, Sunday, 2 pm EST, ESPN

Vandy women's basketball isn't even close to the historic standard and expectations of the Tennessee Lady Vols. She would've gotten six years at that program regardless
Yes, also there are big differences in Ralph and Caldwell. Ralph had learned and been an assistant to one of the best Coaches ever, Ralph was not defensive, combative, antagonistic, or rude to the media or players, Ralph was not immature, Ralph did not have players quit, Ralph did not bring in a system which dehumanized the players by having her best players subbed out, not because of anything they did, but because it was her system. Ralph did not invite bad publicity. Ralph’s teams improved. Therefore, Ralph earned more time.

Go cheer for Vandy or UConn, sounds like you're all in with Ralph. Good riddance.

I know what he was saying and he knows what I was saying. We’re just on opposite sides of the fence when it comes to our level of support. 😆
True that , you think your entitled to be the best team. You're not realistic in expectations. Is Kim the answer, i honestly don't know(neither do you), but I'm smart enough to know she's not getting fired after her second year. If she does, this program will never field a proven P4 coach as long as DW is the AD. No proven P4 coach would touch this job.

Interesting, Missouri, being short handed all year, and being slaughtered by TN, among others, managed to beat Texas A&M and Mississippi State, two of the teams that beat TN. Strange, but that’s why they play the games.
That's what happens when you don't play as a Team. Too many playing lazy and selfish , when they play and hustle as a team there pretty good team. I believe that's what's so frustrating to Kim it's easy to see different stretches of games they can play with anyone. Just going have to wait and see if she can fix it next season with a couple problems leaving. She will have a good nucleus returning if they decide to come back.

Still, the way she wants them to play, even if they do that, often leaves players on the opposing team open, for easy shots. That’s not the players’ fault.

You can't expect me to believe she doesn't want players getting back on defense. That's just being lazy. Beers was beating a lot of the players back to the offensive end while guarding under the basket. That's lack of hustle and not paying attention to what's going on. The defense needs major improvements but the offense can work with player and ball movement.

Missouri with Jordan Reisma and without
With ............................without
75% ppg ......................68.ppg
45.1fg%.........................40.3%
37.8... 3pts% .................26.3%
SEC people show the difference when Missouri vs Arburn
Jordan Reisma came back missed next game she drive loss ball wrestling two LSU tigers for the ball before official blow the whistle must reinjured her lowered leg injury.

And that left them with injury post.
Only leaving grace Slaughter 6'2"
Like playing football with wide receivers playing offense line.

Jordan Reisma makes hold lot of difference on the defense end she could not practice for Arburn but made Hugh difference while she was in there not 100%

That explains Missouri Play getting worse since Jordan Reisma got injured.

Grace Slaughter is guard/small forward she no post.
And been enfecting her play on the offense end having to guard others team post.
Said before Kellie Harper should pick up second post two rooster spots and back up natural point guard.

I don't know what Kim's principal criteria for prospect evaluation are but I'm pretty sure defensive effort should be one of them if it isn't already. She has much to work on, and I hope she can find the will to do it.

I agree. I know she isn't getting fired this year, but she sure is setting herself up for the seat to be scorching hot next year. This end of the season run, and her coaching comments haven't done herself any favors. I'm not going to lower my expectations though. Not at Tennessee.

And Beers was #10 in her class and a McDonald's All American...... but she does not dog it..... she husyles..... and she smiles a lot..... love to see this..... she is obviously having fun playing for her team.....

Kudos to Reagan Beers

Hasn’t Kim said that she knows we will give up some easy lay-ups with her system but that is supposed to be overcome by getting 20-30 more shots per game? What is concerning is she has slowed the offense down so much to avoid the quick 3, that we aren’t getting the required extra shots to make up for the easy buckets caused by the broken press.

I dont have a problem with her calling her team out. She stated a fact.
