We need the former players to say more than Wow, Holly's stubborness is throwing everything Pat did down the drain...Why not resign and let Elzy finish out the year and keep your dignity but she (Holly) wants to prove to Diamond that she is the top Dog and it is killing the team, she (Holly) is getting people (I am certainly one of them) to start to really grow more upset with her and before you know it every good thing she has done as a player and a coach up until this point will be for nothing because she will always be known for what she did this season

They should be critical ...it has been more than earned.
Holly has completely lost this team.There is nothing more to say .They are likely to lose out now and if they are lucky enough to make the tourney ,who can they beat ?

Lost 54-46! Yuck, especially after winning big previously! Lady Vols will be lucky to get invite to NCAA!🤔🙄😳

Creme had us as a #7 seed before this game. We have to go down to an #8 or #9 now. That was sorry! I can't even stand watching them play anymore. Too frustrating to watch. Sad to see Lady Vols basketball fall so far so quickly.

I would say paint the rock... but the media has already painted UT as unfriendly to women so that probably wouldn't play well in the current climate.

Interesting too that the announcers said when speaking to Holly that she said she's going to have to evaluate everything they're doing in the offseason- which makes me think she's going to be given another year, or at least thinks she's going to.

Holly will probably say they played a great game but just came up short, if they'd listened to her they would have won.

The announcer kept hammering Diamond for not scoring but it don't count if you're on the bench because shooting from there is out of bounds. I know, Holly told me so.

It's 100% the coach. It's only the coach. Holly has destroyed the team and they get worse the longer they are exposed to her coaching.

One point needs to be made: Summitt did not leave this program in good shape. People act like we were rolling along under PS and then HW took over and it all went in the crapper. Not the case at all. This program had deteriorated pretty significantly for a long time WITH Summitt. Our recruiting fell off, she lost title games to uconn, the offense was CRAP--it was all there for years. Because we continued to beat up on lousy SEC teams, fans failed to notice our problems even as the missed final fours years stretched out. HW's first three teams essentially continued to do the same--win most of our sec games but lose to good teams, but the same problems were apparent and HW did not exactly inspire confidence. And now, the bottom has fallen out. I'm actually glad it has, because this should force a change--the program DESPERATELY needs a younger, more dynamic staff. We could have continued on as a sort of lower tier two mediocrity for years--winning most of our SEC games but accomplishing nothing more than that. Now it is clear that we need a complete overhaul. Will HW last another year? Maybe, but the writing is now on the wall, in indelible ink. Hart just has to make the right hire--which of course isn't a certainty.

We struggled against a mediocre team to tie our record-low scoring output in a conference game, set just last year against South Carolina. :mf_surrender:

Maybe we'd do better if Holly would just check out, sit back and enjoy a nice cup of tea like she did in the ETSU game. :zeitung_lesen:

If they already plan on giving her another year what happens if all these players decide they want to transfer?
