So far, so good. Well, except for Tamari sitting early. I'm beginning to think maybe Kellie needs to start Franklin and give Tamari a few minutes on the bench to settle down. She tends to get two fouls nearly immediately, so maybe starting isn't her thing.

We are a little nervous but I love what I’ve seen offensively so far.


Press is turning us over a bit but looks like nerves more than anything. Just need to relax and play our game. If we hang on to the ball this won’t be close.


We are considerably more athletic at every position. We look really good offensively. Much more spread this season and no drop off in intensity when we went to the bench.

We can score inside or out or midrange. We can rebound 1-5. We can defend inside or out on the perimeter.

If we don't turn the ball over I don't see how we lose.

Yeah. Nervous legs are slow legs. Needs to take a deep breath and relax.

We gotta remember this our opening game vs a top-15 team on their floor. Not gonna be perfect by any means. To me, we look solid. I think those early fouls on Key hurt the momentum a bit. Come on, senior! We need you to be smart.
