Just upgrade after upgrade after upgrade. It’s humorous when I see that because it means that both the staff and roster that Kim assembled were just not very good. Big yikes to admit that.

I would be very surprised of any of the transfers that are in the portal from Tennessee ended up at LSU or wherever Gabe ends up.

In the last 5 years under Coach Brooke Wyckoff. FLSt. has finished 4th (3 times), 5th and 14th in the conference and were eliminated in the first round of the NCAA three times and made it to the second round once and missed the tournament this season.

I felt this year he may have had a hand in all of it as well. Our recruiting had nothing to do with any coaches sales pitch. It all came down to the bags. It's obvious no one was listening when they told them what type system they would be running.
So now this year we need to go find less talented kids to buy in. This should be interesting.

I understand the dynamic of letting a player out of their LOI if they don't want to be there, but if a recruit asked to be let go because an assistant coach was leaving, I might be inclined to condition a release on not following the assistant to a new school.

She doesn't know any of these coaches it had to be someone else that has contacted this coach. It may not be Danny directly, but no way she found him and hired him the same day Gabe was leaving. Someone else is working behind the scenes.

100%. Quite honestly, an AD is not going to go over a head coaches head and make a major change in her staff. That is crazy talk. If we look at this team, the most likely bet is there was some underlying tension between Lazo and Caldwell and that led to this mutual parting of ways. Let's not forger that Roman's might also be moving on soon.

I’m honestly still trying to figure out all the great recruiting that he has done since Latson wouldn’t have been recruited by him. I admittedly don’t keep up with a lot of players on their squad though. Did they have highly rated recruits that just finished a season at 10-21?

That is what we've learned today can't go to an SEC school. I don't know about another conference school.
