Speak without the riddles. What are you talking about? I genuinely want to know because what has blown up? You can’t be serious right now man. This guy is a recruiting coordinator. Him leaving didn’t blow up Mississippi State then sure as hell want blow up Tennessee. The internet is going out sad.

Talk about riddles…🤣🤣🤣

You people are comical at this point. If Coach Lazo was that much of a difference then what happened at Mississippi State?
If you think Tennessee won’t keep recruiting at a high level by bringing in a known coach from Florida State then you are looney tune in the head.
Man not one of you all before Lazo came to Tennessee would’ve ever even mentioned this guy name as a coach.
This obsession with drama is sickening at this point.
No recruit is about to decommit or at this point asked to be released due to a recruiting coordinator being replaced.

And your sources are????

How involved was this Florida St coach in recruiting? Based on their results this year, they’ve had some very down recruiting until this year.

If this guy was very involved with the good incoming class, maybe he can bring some with.

I wonder if Gabe possibly sided with them regarding their hatred of the system. Not that he would actively participated in any kind of rebellion against him, but just agreed that the system was never going to work. Decisions made now are probably geared toward reinforcing the system for next year.

But why recruiting, the one damn thing going well, would take a backseat to all that I can’t understand.I saw a post from Edwards, where she was using a laughing emotion at all the de-commit rumors and said something like I am sitting here with my coach and "the coach" was Gabe, not Caldwell.
Remember that recent post from Edwards where she was using a laughing emoji in response to all the de-commit rumors and her caption read, just sitting here with my coach and "her coach" was Gabe not Caldwell.

But It will all be fine!

Next year, Caldwell's gonna hit em with 12 D2 transfer players who really, really, really. REALLY believe in "the system." Gonna be amazing!!! We are gonna get up so many shots!!!!

oh i am screaming.
Cora really fell for the “I didn’t get fired, I quit” text from Gabe. If he had resigned, they wouldn’t have been ready to announce his replacement minutes later.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle and this was more of a mutual parting that had been brewing for a while. But when he didn’t get a job offer right away, they had to pull the trigger to make sure that Ferrara was still available.

I said upthread I wonder if Gabe went out there to tell her about his plans and possibly even encourage her to stay. Remember, he has no job to recruit her to so far. Apparently she has liked the new assistant on social media and posted something reassuring just today. also, not that the sainted Big O would ever play for money, but she’s got that huge Adidas deal that compels her toward Tennessee My impression right now is that against all common sense and current evidence she’s staying.

They seem to like this Ferrara what exactly has he done that makes him so impressive?

I doubt it will be any of the present transfers. Edwards is the one to watch.
Couldn’t happen for Edwards. Unless there is a head coaching change, even if the school released her from her LOI, a signee at one school is not eligible to enroll at another SEC school that cycle.

I would be very surprised of any of the transfers that are in the portal from Tennessee ended up at LSU or wherever Gabe ends up.

That is good to know cause the worry was he would head to LSU and take her with him. Getting her in here even if just one season is a bridge to something better.

Good to know. Just like with every player who leaves it will be easy to upgrade from Gabe. In fact, according to our favorite insider, it’s already happened.

Everything’s coming up roses,🌹 Nothing to see here!
