Vols Recruitment notes
6/9/19 - On campus for camp. Vols offer. (tweet)
9/8/18 - On campus visit (visit recap interview)
3/13/19 - On campus visit. (visit recap interview - says Tennessee is at the top of his list)
Very talented quarterback:cool:

He's probably worried about Lincoln Riley leaving and he's quoted as saying if Riley left he'd commit to UGA almost immediately.

"But when Kirby came to Prince Avenue last month I told him ‘Look if Lincoln Riley leaves, I’ll probably commit to Georgia the next week.'”

UGA is going hard after 2021 QB Caleb Williams, if Vandagriff wants in at UGA he needs to make a concise decision before UGA closes that spot. He gone to UGA and Caleb Williams will probably end up at PSU.

Must not have looked at a map before he committed. Same distance away now as it was then
IIRC distance was always an issue but really liked Oklahoma probably thought his “love” for Oklahoma would overcome the distance factor but apparently not.

He didn't love Oklahoma, he loved Lincoln Riley and is probably being negative recruited by Smart, convincing the kid that Riley will be in the NFL either this year or next.

Any QB that commits to a genius 30-something OC is an idiot, IMO.

Look at what happened to Fromm once Chaney left. The same thing will happen to LSU as their offense is all on Brady.

And Coley is trash so if you commit there, you're effectively hoping that Smart hires a more vertically minded replacement and doesn't resort to "defense wins championships" mentality that is pretty out-dated by now.

Maybe Ensminger learned some from Brady. I’m not sure how he’s been outside of LSU though. Wouldn’t surprise me if recruits are high on LSU from their offense this year. Will be interesting to see if Brady works the same magic with their next QB.

This is all very funny. This kid isn't coming here. He is Harrison Bailey's summer football camp nemesis. Not because the kids made it that way, but because the"so called" recruiting specialist did. For nearly 2 years they nitpicked HB while gushing over this kid. Pushing a narrative that HB wasn't even the best quarterback in his own state, even though he outperformed BV at every stop. The two of them will not be going to the same college.

He better not let Tennessee get too high on his list of potential schools. He will lose that 5*. Recruiting services do not appreciate recruits giving us a look.

We’re all WELL aware that Auburn is less than two hours from ATLANTA. 3 other people have tried to patiently explain to you that he doesn’t live in Atlanta but he lives in ATHENS. You keep ignoring the help that everyone is offering you because you’re too busy explaining how many connections you have to the city and a relative who teaches at Auburn. I don’t know really what else we can say to explain to you that distance won’t be a factor because he’s nearly as far from Auburn as Knoxville. This is going to be my last response because other posters are no doubt getting aggravated, and I’m going to feel very guilty if I’m arguing with a stroke victim. Namaste.

Does he live in Athens, GA or Athens, TN? Asking for a VN poster.

I agree that I think Caleb Williams is better or at least higher ceiling but what is it in BV’s game do you think is overrated?

I've watched my nephew play against him for one and never lost to him. Nephew threw tds while he threw picks. To me more decision making and just that IT factor you want in a qb that just finds a way to win. Kid has plenty of arm talent but so does jg!!!! What's your thoughts?
