'19 GA DB Jammie Robinson (FSU)

With Harris in doubt doesn't this kid become more important? Always liked this kid... Love Harris and hope he sticks. But I think JR would be very good replacement should Harris go to UNC.

I'm starting to think the Vols finish with Wright, Toot, Moore and Jammie. I'm good with that, of course I want Pickens, but I don't see it happening. Hope we can get Harris in too, although that might move Jammie out.

Reactions: The Dog
Tennessee has recruited the Lee County corner for months, as Robinson’s former high school head coach Shelton Felton and Vols defensive coordinator Kevin Sherrer spearheaded the pursuit. But Felton, a former quality control analyst, recently left Tennessee to take a job at Akron.
Robinson visited Tennessee in September to watch the UF game. Auburn, Kentucky and South Carolina are all after the 4-star defensive back.
In a perfect world, Tennessee would like to add another DB to its 2019 class, too. But do the Vols have room for the South Georgia native?

Jammie Robinson makes the specialist position, which goes to the player who made the biggest impact on special teams, but to be honest, he could have made defensive back too. Robinson led the classification averaging 25.5 yards per punt return and 36.7 on kickoffs. The senior had 7 touchdowns that he returned back, showing off moves that looked akin to Devin Hester.
Class 6-A All-State

Named Albany-Area Defensive POY and GHSA Class 6A Defensive POY:
He’s an animal for a suffocating defense, and he feels his attention to detail with defensive coordinator Jason Butler is what separates him. “I sit in and watch film with him a whole lot and just studying the game and just being that dog. You know I’ve got that dog mentality. I’m not going to let the person in front of me beat me or anything like that, so I’ve just got that dog in me.”
