He spent a few weeks in the summer in Dallas. He would spend the rest of the year hanging with Nigel who he calls a brother. GFW has been positive. OV has reported that UT is still what he has heard and that has not changed.

This is where the narrative has come from as well as Gibbs being at UT with Nigel before he commited and on periscope he look more all Vol than Nigel. Of course that could change. However, I feel if UT goes out this year and the team as well as the D kicks butt, then we will see Gibbs here.

I may have missed GFW saying that if he did. I miss update posts from time to time. That said, GFW didn't say it in this thread that I can see.

Gibbs helped his cousin get on with UGA...who has a much more appealing depth chart in 2017 for a safety. He would be battling out Kelly, Berry, Gaulden, Warrior, Griffin, and others at UT. He has already used some of his eligibility, so you can't blame him for going somewhere that affords him a better chance to get on the field.
