I think this is unrecognized potential that movie theaters have really missed out on. There are a number of flicks that I would go see if they re-run and promoted them. You don't think people would fill the theater for cult classics? Tombstone, Godfather, Pulp Fiction, the original Star Wars trilogy, Gladiator, the Shining, etc...I’ve often wondered why the movie houses don’t periodically rerun some of the movies that look better on the big screen like Titanic, Sound of Music, Ben Hur, Star Wars, etc. Do the studios demand the same fees for them?

The Tampa Theatre showed GOODFELLAS a couple of years ago. It was fun watching it in a big screen with a glass of wine.I’ve often wondered why the movie houses don’t periodically rerun some of the movies that look better on the big screen like Titanic, Sound of Music, Ben Hur, Star Wars, etc. Do the studios demand the same fees for them?
