That Florida team went to the Elite Eight. They were really good.

Ranked #7 in the country when we beat them at their place.

I'm not saying they weren't good and that it wasn't a big one....it just wasn't one of those games that I thought we had no chance in. I wasn't OMG I can't believe we beat Florida......I don't know how to explain it but there were several games like that during Pearls era....I don't mean this to be a crack on Zo or praise for Pearl bc it's not meant that way.

CCM wasn't completely up to speed with Xs and Os at the SEC level, but with more experience he would have improved.

I do give him credit for bringing in high quality people and stressing the importance of their UT education. Pearl wasn't in CCM's neighborhood in those areas.
