I'm sure Phil would take the job back, if he were asked to do so. But he's not going to ask for it. But I second his feelings on what qualities the next coach should have.

I do think he'd like to follow in Doug Dickey's footsteps and become the AD someday. And he probably will, if Hamilton messes up the next hire.

A good statement in my opinion. Took the high road. I also agree with him that we need to hire the anti-Kiffin:

Too bad Hamilton doesn't agree with Fulmer, considering our last hire had absolutely zero of these characteristics, I sure hope our next coach has them all.

I think thats unfair and totally inaccurate. A Nat'l championship and multiple SEC championships is not a failure of a coach. I'll be the first to say I was glad for a coaching change, and hopped on the Kiffin Bandwagon with everyone else.

But that doesn't mean you lose your respect for a highly successful coach and former player of the University. Isn't this where respect and pride for you the University and it's tradition begins?
