You have no idea how I feel about CPF. All I was pointing out was the glaring error in your thread title.
Short Answer. Faith. Something every true fan SHOULD have in their team. I go into every game thinking Tennessee can win the game. I also go into every game with realistic opinions as to their chances. IF Tennessee plays like they did Saturday, they probably won't win out. But guess what, I will still be at every game, thinking they will win when the ball is kicked off.
Longer Answer- Tennessee has lost to three ranked teams on the road. Tennessee is undefeated at Neyland Stadium this season. They play South Carolina, Arkansas, Lafeyette, and Vanderbilt at home. By the time that they play Kentucky, the Cats will be a shell of their current selves. They play Miss St. Vandy and Georgia all before we go there. If Tennessee plays like they CAN play, they can win in Lexington.
After the Florida loss, did you think Florida would lose two games? Did you think that if they played the way they did against Tennessee that they would lose ANY games? They've lost two. One of which at home. Their games against Georgia and South Carolina are at a neutral site and at Columbia. If you think it's impossible for them to drop one of those games, you are wrong.
Is there a lot of work still to be done? Yes. Is it possbile though for Tennessee to end up in Atlanta? Yes.
Meaning that we should expect the Vols to win these games and if they do not then there is only one clear explanation. bad coaching.I'm with you. Most lost faith after the Florida game and predicted that Georgia would destroy the Vols in Neyland Stadium. The next 4 games are in Neyland Stadium against good to mediocre teams. I fully expect the Vols to play much better than they did last Saturday. Probably not as good as they did against Georgia, but they don't have to be that good to beat the next 4 opponents.
South Carolina has already started their annual 2nd half slide... La-Lafayetter is a cupcake.... Arkansas finally won a conference game over hapless Mississippi... and Vandy is still Vandy.
