They are already paying nearly a million dollars just for the OC and DC. And with Tennessee not going to big time BCS bowls that bring in lots of revenue, this cost is going to be passed to the fans. Think about how much face value for tickets was just 5 years ago, $30 bucks? Now its $50. Would they have had to raise tickets prices that much if Tennessee regularly went to BCS bowls? The market might have allowed them to do so because of demand, but the revenue sources would be solidified.
