This is classic Fulmer. His downfall can be tied to loyalty to subordinates who were not performing and did not get better. Pruitt is not performing. We'll see if he can get better.

I agree on Fulmer, but you've got to show full support as long as a decision hasn't been made. Even though things are looking exceedingly bad right now, I think you've got to wait until the end of the season to assess. If the November Vols aren't able to trounce the September Vols, then it's time to pull the plug.

There's what "should be" and what is. Fulmer is more likely to give Pruitt 6 years without much improvement in wins than he is to fire him after two.

Honestly, I think any first time head coach right now would be in over their head here. That’s not just the case with Pruitt. He’s got a good enough staff around him though to learn and fix that.

Yeah...Plus he has Fulmer, to whom he can turn to for advise, ... if he is wise enough to avail himself of same. Further, I think Fulmer will give him the best advice he can,....short of spending his own political capital to cover for him. In any case, Fulmer is tied to Pruitt, since he made the pick. Clearly,..the way this Banks fiasco was handled is on Pruitt, and rightfully so. imo.

Didn’t know lack of upper body strength affected the part of your brain that tells you what the play call is and what you're supposed to do.

Again, we would destroy BYU and Georgia State in a weight lifting competition, and Florida didn't push us around either.

The size and strength straw man has been peddled on this site and by our coaches for years, but it doesn't add up to what we are seeing on the field which is mostly piss poor coaching.

It definitely goes on CJP's record----but his overweight, over-rated, and overpaid lard butt of an OC did him no favors against Georgia State.

And for that matter--he did him no favors against BYU in the 4th QTR...and
that &^%$ of an OC didn't even demonstrate a reasonable clue of a game plan against Fla....

So....I guess all of you are willing to give CHANEY a pass on his D- performance over 4 games----but CJP got to go??

I'm not in favor of giving CJP an indefinite amount of time to prove he can do it...

But good grief, man, 16 games in while starting 5 true Freshman on the field in the SEC with a I-AA rated QB and
you guys show up with pitchforks and hoes to run him out of town on a rail????
