Had they counted SEC titles the way they used to he would have had 5. He was promoted to OC after Majors went 0-6 and won him 2 SEC titles. President of the College Football Coaches Association and elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. He has the best record against Spurrier of all that played them every year. In short, the man that made Tennessee relevant in football still gets shots from the dumbest fan base in America.
