From Russia with love

For someone who still chants "lock her up" because she used a private email server hoping that some top-secret classified email was sent proving she was to blame for Benghazi and subjected to a rigorous investigations, and you require some sort of proof that Russia tried to influence our elections (other than what is out now) and against investigating the issue calling it a witch hunt.

The US govt has never influenced another nations elections either, have they? Let's see, Obama tried in Israels last election.

Ugh... Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information. That is not even disputed.

It is proven Hillary had sent top secret information through her private email, that is without a question a crime. Mishandling classified information has been prosecuted many times so there is precedence.

Not 1 person has ever even been charged with the Logan Act, and there is NO PROOF that anyone in the Trump campaign even violated it. Try again.

I'm going to have to ask you to produce those emails that give you definitive proof that they exist and prison worthy; otherwise you are taking someones word for it. Investigate the Trump-Russia rabbit hole and prove that it is a witch hunt. It would be just another failure by the Democrats. Nothing to hide nothing to fear. The only thing the FBI investigation revealed was HC is an incompetent fool.

Typical answer deflector.

Deflector? That's rich.

Get back with me when you successfully complete an argument that doesn't solely rely on pointing out that the current administration isn't doing anything the the previous didn't do.

If your belief is that the Obama administration sucked, your argument is self defeating.

What would those sanctions have looked like. "I sanctions the United States to give us more than 3.5 billion dollars a year"

Sessions needs to go. He clearly lied under oath. And he's ass backwards on a few things, so if this gets him out the door I'm all for it. And before the obvious gets asked, I'm a fairly conservative Libertarian.

While I'd rather someone else have the job than him I don't and can't support removing someone from office for this particular incident. It's not a clear cut case of perjury by any means.

This is really turning into bizarro world.

Democrats have long touted talking and compromise over military action. Conservatives are obviously more hawkish.

Yet here we have republicans talking to Russia and the democrats basically say it's espionage.

How is our goverment supposed to resolve international issues if they're not allowed to talk to the other parties?

This is very similar to how people on Trump's business council have been treated. I'd say several didn't vote for him and don't agree with everything he says but they want a place at the table and their voice to be heard. Instead they're shamed into resigning for essentially conspiring with the enemy. Dialogue with the other side is no longer allowed.

How many boxes need to be checked? Did he tell the truth and was he under oath?

It's not as if the question was a insignificant side bar to a much broader conversation, the crux of the questioning revolved around it.

Having lived in Alabama, Sessions is a weasel. No one who knows anything about him is surprised that this career politician is in the middle of a fecal storm. Drain the swamp.

You're foisting a false narrative, the problem isn't with open diplomacy; it's the constant revelations of unofficial "meetings" where officials keep denying or telling half truths only to be busted later.

Couple that with the fact that Russia has and will continue to plot to undermine western democracy, the hacking of the DNC during the elections and it paints a undeniably awful picture of an administration that says its going to "drain the swamp."

Another commie spy. He violated the law and lied under oath. So many of you are ready to bend over and take Russian control of the United States in the name of partisanship. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. Y'all don't deserve to call yourselves Americans.

I do believe that the Director of the FBI clearly stated she handled classified information and emailed classified information through her unsecured server. That is without question a crime any person not named Clinton would have been prosecuted for.

Please explain how a sitting Senator violated the law in talking to the Russian Ambassador?

He met them as a member of a senate committee, of which he was still a member. At both points no one was giving Trump better than a 15% chance to win. So what you have to believe is that Sessions a) knew Trump would win b) he would be nominated and confirmed as AG c) wanted to commit treason. This is full blown looney tunes.

What you are asking for is that ANYONE who MIGHT be a nominee for somehow who might win the presidency stop doing their job six months out from the election, otherwise it's collusion and espionage.

Lets see if Pence is given the same scrutiny as HC for doing the same thing with an AOL account. And lets see if you say a negative word about him doing it. I'm going to wait and watch your hypocrisy.

Then why didn't he just say at the confirmation hearings that he met with the Russian ambassador? He knew the committee was looking into all the Trump/Russian connections. The truth never gets you in hot water when you're under oath.

Same thing?

How much classified information is the Governor of Indiana privy to? Not to mention, an AOL account is more secure than Hillary's private server was and AOL will have a digital record.

This is the endpoint of postmodernism, folks.

Nihilism par excellence.

In other words, Trumpism.

Maybe he was privy to details about upcoming state contracts and project bidding or state police investigations and undercover actions. Who knows what info a Governor may have that can be useful to someone.

Security experts noted to the Indy Star that some of Pence's emails were apparently confidential and sensitive enough that they could not be turned over in response to public records requests.

Please tell me what you know about the security of HC email server (Security protocols, encryption type, and backup) and contrast it with AOL.
