Not sure what you are after, but of course a UT fan first. 1) I also want Fulmer to get the respect he deserves. Surely you're not saying that is putting Fulmer first. Bashing PF for the end of his career and ignoring or forgetting the great things is just ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is watching the same people defend Kiffin, who did nothing but harm us. I liked Kiffin, but since UT obviously comes first, I hate him now for what he did and who he is. Fulmer had UT at the level we want to be for many years. Of course 2) I want more success from DD, but if you were told DD was going to accomplish what PF did, most would accept that gladly, no? That makes me a realist and not a Fulmerite, which surely you werent accusing me of!

You cant be serious! The boy defends kiffin at every opportunity, and has not once defended Fulmer or UT. Thats being a kiffin fan first! He loves him more than UT, at least that is what is what you would HAVE to conclude if you use the same standards YOU do, to say someone loves Fulmer more than UT. What's your grudge with VV? From what I've read he's been right on just about everything that's happened and you've been wrong on just about everything. Example; You said, in this thread, that Cecil admitted that "Auburn" offered money, NO he didn't. Cecil has admitted trying to get money from Ms St but has repeatedly said that he never ask Auburn for money and Auburn never offered anything. If you're going to argue facts at least know a few of them.

I think Gibbs and Vegas would like to see UT Football fail because they are hurt that Fulmer is not coaching; thus why I think Fulmer 1st, UT 2nd.

He didn't tell Auburn offered him? Either way, the point is his testimony apparently didn't mean anything to the NCAA. And VegasVol has whiffed on everything. He basically repeated some old rumor people forgot about because it's so stupid and once again, nothing is coming out of it.

It seems that defending PF annoys you more than someone defending kiffin. Because you seem to have only noticed the PF defenders, and labeled them PF fans first, but not doing the same for kiffin defenders. It should bother you more to see kiffin defenders. At least PF loves UT and did great things for us!

I think it's the way they defend him that gets under everyone's skin. Fulmer was a good coach and did good things here. It was, however, time for him to go. According to gibbs and vv, he should have never, under any circumstance, been let go. And then they make claims about how much better off we would be using highly skewed or incomplete "data". The reason I have no use for their drivel is, when they make a mistake, and it is obvious and acknowledged by everyone else, they get defensive and refuse to admit it. Their complete refusal to acknowledge that anyone else's point of view might have some validity to it, makes everyone else go on the offensive everytime they show up.

* No good coach would ever consider UT
* Good recruits will never consider UT
* UT Football Championships outside of Fulmer’s don’t count.
* When it was announced UT Football was being investigated Vegas immediately predicted USCesque sanctions and seemed giddy about it.
* Winning seasons are not to be expected at UT
* Any success Majors had at UT was because of Fulmer
* Programs like UT should not expect to win 1 or more Conference Championships every 10 years.

I do think this is all building up to the piece that HBO is working on about being dirty in college football and that is probably why they have not been leaked and I would say HBO is paying for them so they are the source of the story. I have read it is going to expose Auburn and others as well.
