That's becoming the biggest revelation for me as well. What I found out is that I can do functional exercise and keep my body in a place where I can do whatever I want to. I can lift heavy things, I can climb stairs all day long, I can get up and down on the floor whenever I want, and I generally feel great. I’ve found through years of fluctuating weight that if I shift to maintenance mode with 5-10 pounds to go then it became a lifestyle and not a diet. I also found that my ideal weight was 10 pounds heavier than my goal.
Basically once I reach 170 keep mostly keto (mine is lean meats and low carb veggies, low sodium, no table salt - only sea salt, no artificial sweeteners - only 100% pure stevia) but kick in some natural carbs like potatoes.Do you have a plan for maintenance?

Basically, eat as little processed diet as possible (keep doing that) and monitor weight fluctuations.
I’ve also been working out more doing scrap metal moving heavy stuff almost daily as my side hustle while I save up for my Tex-mex food trailer. So, that has helped.

Sounds to me like you have a better chance of sticking with it than I did till the last few years
