It is rare that Freshmen come in and contribute heavily in the SEC. However, the offseason threads are slow so I'll throw out a question.
Which two freshmen would be the most impactful if they contribute?
I'm going to go with
1) Ty Chandler and it's not close
2) Jordan Murphy. With Josh Smith in question we really only have 5 decent WRs and probably only one star. If he could come in and give us 10-15 snaps where he makes an impact it would go a long way towards success.
EDIT: Clarification from the OP. My picks were need based selections. If you look at the depth chart RB is terribly thin and WR isn't accomplished as a unit.
My picks were based upon if there were two players we NEED to contribute, who would they be?
Trey Smith is obviously ready to contribute, but it could be argued that even if he didn't play his position would be ok.
