Freeze says to AD to Hire Him, "I've been able to take programs and turn them around quickly in all cases."

The guy personally arranged prostitutes for 18-21 year old college athletes. Let that sink in if your a parent of a recruit considering Tennessee if he’s our OC
I thought he was using a phone sex line, not lining up prostitutes, and certainly not for the players. I thought that occurred at Louisville’s basketball program. Just asking....two very different things.

I thought this was an interesting read considering the perfect storm. Offensive Coordinator Hugh Freeze at the Touchdown Club in Memphis on Sept. 10 was the guest speaker and told reporters he's ready to get back to coaching as well as what he'd tell the hiring Athletic Director to hire him.

What he would say to Athletic Directors to hire him: "Well, if you look at what my track record is, I’ve been able to take programs, high school, small college, middle college, power five and turn them around pretty quickly in all cases. I think the kids that have played in it, I think our core values have been good for them. Even in something in my personal life...

Hugh Freeze says it’s ‘time to move forward,’ ready for next opportunity
Convinced me. Hire the guy already.

If it was relevant, it was only so in the context of what Houston Nutt had going and certainly not relevant to Hugh Freeze's on field performance which is what makes him the most qualified candidate available for the current position discussed.

Your last sentence is what’s relevant

Do you think we arent cheating? How about Bama? OSU? Clemson? I have a good idea. How about we just forget about wanting to be a good program again and just try to compete without cheating? Then maybe we can be champions of life.

Something to consider is, Freeze knows he's got a monkey on his back, and everyone is watching him. He should be supremely motivated to kick offensive azz and take names at his first school in his "comeback tour." Let UT be the beneficiary of this!

Every school does it or does a variation of it. UT was doing similar stuff back when Fulmer was coach. College athletics is very shady.

Amen, Brother Ben. Ask me the same and I'll say it again!

The age of consent is 18. As long as it was voluntary, who cares. Don’t act like UT and other schools haven’t done the exact same thing.

Read the case. He went along with it but the system was already in place.
Freeze is FOS and a liar..... he was apart of everything that went on and more that wasn’t found out..... he was able to skate bc others took the major fall for the cheating.... Remember Donnie Tyndall.... he skated the first time while others went down.... it didn’t work the second time when he was at Tennessee.

Freeze is probably the best coach available outside of maybe Kingsbury, who isn’t coming here.

Is wining the top priority? It is for Saban. He tried to hire Freeze last year. Will we? Depends on what the goals are.

If you want the best coach you hire Freeze. It all just depends on how committed you are to winning.

Not because of his supposed questionable morals. You are just one who cannot except how mediocre we are and expect TN to be a morally superior university.

Wrong, simply pointing out the moral equivalency on the board in the name of winning. If he’s hired, I hope he makes better moral decisions for the sake of himself and the program and that it won’t hurt recruiting. On the merits of his ability to improve an offense though, he would be an excellent hire.

Yea, this is what I meant the other day when I said call me what you want. I'm fine with Freeze here as our OC, in fact I hope it happens, but I see your point and its interesting how some people act like he did nothing. Some even seem to condone it. I don't think it was okay, but its not a deal breaker for me.

I mean does anyone honestly think that even if we hired Freeze, he would be here for more than a season if he did well, 2 max?

Key words: he did well. Translation: it was a good hire. If he leaves you hire the best out there to replace him. In college you want your assistants getting better jobs. It means they’re successful.

Some of you want to act like these "kids"come from a morally ethical background and Freeze is some kind of grade B-movie pimp leading them down a path of destruction.

There you have it, the Freak has spoken. Unfortunately sir, I’m not convinced we are “all in” on this winning thing.
GBO!!
