Freeze says to AD to Hire Him, "I've been able to take programs and turn them around quickly in all cases."

The guy personally arranged prostitutes for 18-21 year old college athletes. Let that sink in if your a parent of a recruit considering Tennessee if he’s our OC

Depending on the Parent the thinking might be..."Well I know he won't come out of college a virgin." Besides the last I heard their is an NCAA presence in the compliance office anyway.

The guy lost his dream job and everything around it and has done everything he could possibly do apologize and asking for forgiveness publicly.

Also that same comment you and others are throwing around in terms of other teams recruiting against us is pure insanity. Freeze would be in those same exact living rooms with those mom's and dad's. It is a huge insult to those "parent's of recruits" if you think they can only take a talking point from another school to make a decision or give guidance. At the end of the day, Hugh Freeze has to show to those parents he's a different person.

The fact people are using parents as a reason to not pursue him is stupid and an insult to the intelligence of those parents.

Well... not to me.... but perhaps the mindset was different during those times. As I said... there seemed to be a lot of it... a whole lot.
I missed something. Are you saying it isnt moral to you? Immoral to you? Or neither to you?

I can forgive. The guy got caught and paid a steep price. My problem with Freeze is that the minute he walks on campus he's actively looking for his next gig. One or two years and he's gone.

With our offensive roster, he's here a minimum of 2 years. There is no way he can jump to another job after one season with the current roster unless major strides are made.

The easiest way to get him to stay past year 2 is to offer a huge jump in salary from year 2 to 3. Everyone knows that he wouldn't be a long term OC for us, but getting him for 2-3 seasons is a steal. There is literally no reason to not hire him.

Yeah that's awful. Because when I went on my recruiting trips to UT back in the day, all we had were "hostesses" that "volunteered" to "show you around campus." Just awful i tell ya... People need to get off of their pedestals. Hugh Freeze did nothing that any other coach hasn't done in some form or fashion. He just got caught.

I would bet there are more college football HOF coaches who got prospects laid than didnt. Thats been part of college football longer than the quarterback. Grow up. Its been going on for decades.

I mean. If you boil it down, isn’t wanting to be super good at football and going to the NFL to make millions of dollars...isn’t the most basic drive to push males into that profession is to be able to get it on more with many different women?

I mean. If nice cars and money didn’t get you laid more, would men go after that stuff as much? Probably not. Lol.

Freeze's teams scored high points against Alabama. That's a big plus. On the downside, money floated recklessly.

Freeze is probably the best coach available outside of maybe Kingsbury, who isn’t coming here.

Is wining the top priority? It is for Saban. He tried to hire Freeze last year. Will we? Depends on what the goals are.

If you want the best coach you hire Freeze. It all just depends on how committed you are to winning.

We tired of losing.

If there’s nothing wrong with it then why was he fired?

If HF gets the UT OC gig, at some point, he'll bolt for an HC job. You ready for that?

Indeed it does. If CJP is found to be unfaithful to his wife, should UT fire him?

If he is doing it on their time and money they should. Why are you keeping on about this? Can you not agree to disagree with someone? This is getting creepy.

The scripture says it is.
Here's a newsflash but society has changed, the Church view is now in the minority, especially when it comes to sports. Religion says to welcome in sinners and to not throw them to the wolves, do you feel differently?

It’s been leaked now that CJP has met with Mr Freeze in Memphis. This hire has been in motion for weeks. All set up to make Pruitt look like the hero here with a splash announcement. Look for the day after the SEC Championship Game. Prepare for the awakening of the great beast of an offense from up on the hill.

SOON

I feel I have the right to my opinion, as do you. He was fired from Ole Miss for his actions. Why don’t you ask them that question?

The more I read about Freeze, the more I am warming up to the idea. I had my reservations at first, but he does have a pretty stellar track record.

The big change for me is not only what Freeze is capable of, but the fact that we have to break the cycle of hiring coaches at budget prices and expecting great results. We need the marque name and the immense experience that comes with it as a part of our program. Freeze has coached top tier teams in high stress environments from conference challenges to game situations. He would be a mature hire that would build on the staff experience. Not only would he make the offense better as a system, he would elevate our level of play. He would enhance the quality of our recruits, he would develop talent, and could really help our coaches get better too.
