So, in case everyone forgot and is still focused on Tennessee's abysmal performance against Charlotte, the Vols have a HUGE game tomorrow against No. 11/12 Kentucky at Neyland Stadium. No doubut about it, this is a big game. Big.
Tomorrow, Tennessee can deal a defeating blow to the Wildcats if, in one of their best seasons in my lifetime, one of the worst Tennessee teams can put them in their place.
I know the Vols were pathetic against Charlotte, but if you're looking for reasons to be optimistic, here are a few reasons I like Tennessee's chances tomorrow.
1. Regardless of what some here will tell you, Tennessee isn't as bad as the Charlotte game. This team had shown improvement all season and fans were very optimistic after the Auburn win. This is still the same team. Charlotte was a textbook trap game, sandwiched between a big game at South Carolina that Jeremy Pruitt had circled on his calendar and this week's matchup against No. 12 Kentucky. Both players and coaches looked past Charlotte, despite Pruitt's efforts to tell everyone who would listen that it would be a tough game.
2. We get some much needed bodies back in the lineup. Tennessee missed Jauan Jennings and Ty Chandler last week. Those are two of our best skill players and even though they can't help our line block, they are two of our best playmakers. With them back, and hopefully 100% this week, it should add two very important pieces to the offense.
3. Kentucky hasn't won in Neyland since 1984. I know these are different teams, but think Tennessee and Florida.
4. Kentucky hasn't won in Neyland since 1984. We're 16-0 during that time.

Now that we have my rant out of the way, what's everyone up to tonight? Anyone at the basketball game?

Who's checking out high school playoff football tonight?
If you're coming in town for the game tomorrow, let me know how long your trip is. It's always interesting to see who travels the furthest each week.
Who's tailgating?
Finally, if you're not going to the game, let me know what's on your weekend agenda? Other sports, food, shopping, etc. What other college games do you plan to watch?
Go Vols!
