You all crack me up with the continued Arky talk. When Van Horne retires, Hobbs will be promoted to HC there. Zero doubt.
Arkansas isn't the only SEC job that would line up to take Tony if he fails in the MLB.... every job in this conference with the exception of LSU (and us if Elander is doing well) will be beating down his door if he ever gets fired.

Not saying I disagree but Arkansas won’t be one of them. Matt Hobbs will be the next HC there. Guaranteed.

I really don’t get people being mad about this. Tony didn’t make him leave. Congrats to Frank. He’s 66 years old and is now going to get a taste of the big leagues to finish up his career.

I was hoping he’d stay through the year, but figured that was probably it either way.

Let me grieve in my own way, dude 😂
Fair enough, brother. Just trying to help you keep it light. Put that big orange cup on and strap up tight. There may be another member or two of the staff we lose before this is all over. I think we’ll do as well or better than Tony’s first couple of years.

UT had redundancy and successors already in place except for Q where they made a great hire. Elander made an incredible hire backfilling for his former role. Josh Reynolds was hired a couple of years ago to succeed Frank Anderson, and same for Zach Stovall who will succeed Sean McCann. I can assure you that Elander knew it was likely he’d be losing Q, Frank the Tank, and Sean. That’s why announcements on new hires and promotions have happened at virtually the same time.

Indeed…lSean McCann will be announced next.

Seems like kind of a cheap shot by Rogers. Fall ball is over. No official practices can take place. No need for Anderson to stick around for “a 2 weeks notice” when Josh Reynolds is ready to take over. Frank the Tank needs to sell his Knox condo and buy one in San Fran. Rumor is one of Haslam’s buddies has already bought the Vitello home….
