Man, you are one of the posters I like the best, we good.

P.S. When I was younger I used to run the whole gambit of emotions but at some point during the reign of Dooley-Butch-Pruitt I sort of started trying to stay as grounded as possible, kind of as a defense mechanism. I think it was 2016 and the collapse after beating Georgia and Florida that flipped the switch for me, where I said, you know what, I am not going to ride this roller coaster anymore, to the greatest extent possible, I am going to look at Vol football like I do my work and try and honestly take stock of the strengths and weaknesses like I would a case. I try to do that as much as I can but I still ride the roller coaster during games. I am also immensely grateful for Heupel making us a factor again. Sure, it's not all we want, exactly when we want it, but it's a hell of alot more fun. GBO.
Amen. Pretty close to the same with me, that and my age catching up. Lol. 2015 gater game and the whole 16 season were the 2 straws that broke this camels back.

And yes, the perfect storm of all that and Heupel doing what hes done, Tennessee football now is the most fun its been in a long long time.

ESPN hates us.
Except they don't. Just what some of our dumbass fans with thin skin think. They wanna blame everyone else for our issues, which ESPN/ Disney has zero to do with it. I've yet to see anything anywhere that says they hate us. Now, they may hate some of our inbred, stupid ass fans. Which I can't blame them for that, I hate half our fans. It's truly no wonder why some of our fanbase is so hated. I'm 52 and have been a fan since I can remember first watching football. But, some of our fans are next level idiots. I'll put it this way, Ala and GA fans are the absolute worst, some of ours fall right below those 2. Exactly why we're all grouped together with those dumb dumbs and seen as dumbass rednecks.

It was a great WIN and a great first HALF, but hardly a great GAME.
When you basically can run 6 and 8 minute drives, you are having a great SECOND half as well.
It’s the best way to win. Run the ball down their throats while they know they can do absolutely NOTHING to stop.

Jason hates us. I bet you work for ESPN.

Dooley- Butch-Pruutt, three names linked in infamy throughout eternity and the leading trigger for BVS. Coming in a close second is ESPN.

Hey, Sankey made a deal with the devil selling out the conference to ESPN, so this is what we get. I said ad nauseum at the time that we would live to regret the move, but everyone was so giddy with "no more Gary" that they were blind to what was coming. I'd give anything to still have a real pro like Brad Nessler calling SEC games.

On the bright side, we still haven't been saddled with the brutal Joe Tessitore this year as of yet, and we dodged the bullet again on Saturday.

A reminder of the greatness of Nessler and CBS' coverage - this is how a big moment should be called:

Exactly, and from the way Florida was running their offense, with zero urgency, it was clear that Gonzalez had waived the white flag. Heupel handled it perfectly, and the game resembled a blowout over an FCS team instead of an SEC rivalry game.

Give it a rest, dude!

We won in the Swamp for the first time in 22 years in what was effectively a blow-out. All you've done is make disparaging negaVol posts about he we didn't score more. Yes, we could have easily run up the score. We didn't, because we were dominating the Gators so much we could just run out the clock.
This! We had a four TD lead until they scored, making it a 20 point game. We were getting chunk plays on the ground and the safest play was to continue to run. The point is to win and stay healthy for Vandy; success!

It is important to note that inside (A-C gap) running plays absolutely minimize injury risk to your offense; far more punishing than pass pro too. Where do QBs, OL, WRs get rolled up on? outside runs and passes. The 2nd half strategy was boring but safe.

GBO, sink Vandy!
