Oh man another realistic view of Foster statement. You guys keep this up and Fostermom is gonna come in here with another who you gonna believe me or your lyin eyes thread, I'm just sayin!+1
No offense intended to either party, but watching AF try to run a sweep is a bit like watching Casey Clausen try to scramble. Slow. The whole defense is there by the time he approaches the line of scrimmage.
For a guy who has "Self" tatooed on one arm and "Made" tatooed on the other...I guess to imply that he is self made and not a product of team effort...I can't say I'm surprised at all that he didn't think of what that penalty would do to his team
Those what...3 times that were recovered?
He had some damn good runs against Florida. Unfortunately, the two biggest were negated by holds away from the play.
Exactly and I am sure there will be those on here that think that the penalties were Foster's fault too not the over rated o-line that is supposed to be experienced also...If anyone watched the play it should have been negating penalties as Spikes was just as much at fault but as usual we get no calls our way at home anymore...I as well think we need more Creer but get off of AF's a$$ for a little bit.
he did exactly what I would have done and what I would expect guys playing for me to do.what happened to another player at another time is of no consequence. what we're discussing happened saturday and it did hurt the team. he blew it, period.

I'm not talking about other players at other times. I'm talking about the fact that straddling a player and impeding his getting up is a personal foul and was a point of focus not very long ago for the officials. There is a reason it is disallowed.

he wasn't goaded into anything. Spikes is too stupid to have goaded. Foster simply reacted like I would expect a competitive athlete to respond. The goading thing is the reason that the exact thing Spikes did was deemed a personal foul. You are correct that Spikes was just as much at fault and that it should have been off-setting penalties. Still, you are taught that the second guy to react always gets the penalty. I'm sure the gators remember this lesson from a few years back. Foster has to know better. He should have tried to run Spikes over the next time he had the ball instead of being goaded into retaliating.
