Can someone explain to me how a guy that implodes at the most crucial moments continues to start? He is supposed to be the leader of this team and he has a complete "me first" moment by getting a personal foul and killing us against Florida. As a leader is this really what you want? His production has been fine and I have been a fan of his in the past. I just cant stomach his game turning mistakes any longer. Give Creer and Poole more carries.

another thing, it's obvious that our Offense is in dire need of playmakers, AF does not have the wheels to take it to the house. Creer can, so let him have some significant carries.

the me first moment has been way overblown. Spikes got exactly what he asked for. Decent official throws no flag or hammers both.

I still have yet to see the replay of the foul.

I was there, but my seats were in the corner of the endzone and I couldn't see the replay. If Spikes was straddling him and Arian pushed him off, that's a BS call and deserves no punishment.

What does deserve punishment is his getting in CPF's face on the sidelines.

I agree. Yes I wish he would have just turned around and went back to the huddle, but I think Foster is catching a little too much flack for the penalty. I have no idea what was going on with him and Fulmer though.

I was on the fence about Foster until his episode this past Saturday. He put us in a terrible position in a big game again. This is something we should expect from freshmen and sophomores, not seniors WHO SHOULD BE OUR TEAM LEADER ON OFFENSE!.

No offense intended to either party, but watching AF try to run a sweep is a bit like watching Casey Clausen try to scramble. Slow. The whole defense is there by the time he approaches the line of scrimmage.

We are also in dire need of giving Crompton all the protection possible. I honestly think AF is the best blocker we have, and deserves the spot he is in.

As a psychology student, I really think he just needs some regular visits to a sports psychologist, because his consistency is pretty good in low-pressure situations.

*edit* I should clarify, best blocking RB we have.

he took a shot at an opposing player right in from of an official. how absurd is that? why risk guess what the ref will do and just rein your self in. shouldnt a leaders first thought be to not hurt his team? I didint know he got in Phil's face. If he did he should sit for a game or two.

For a guy who has "Self" tatooed on one arm and "Made" tatooed on the other...I guess to imply that he is self made and not a product of team effort...I can't say I'm surprised at all that he didn't think of what that penalty would do to his team

amen. take away the cutback and he's stopped for a loss every time.

In my honest opinion I have seen to many great back's to come out of UT to let AF hold the record. It's a sham but it will happen

I can agree on that. I promise I can. He fumbles too damn much!!

Those what...3 times that were recovered?

He had some damn good runs against Florida. Unfortunately, the two biggest were negated by holds away from the play.

WATE Channel 6, pretty much makes it a daily thing to show that "in the face" footage when referencing the Florida game. I agree with Groves, you get in Daddy's face the axe is going to come down.

More proof that Fulmer has no stones.

his retaliation wasn't inappropriate IMO. Spikes was setting a tone and Foster was letting him know it was unacceptable. If the rest of our team would display something similar, we might beat some people. Otherwise, we'll feast on the UABs of the world and be killed by decent teams.

I think they have five really good options on offense, guys who can make big plays for you. I personally don't think No. 27 is one of them. The head football coach does, and that's what matters.

personal foul is his making a choice to put his emotions and ego above the team, game, everything else.

I disagree. you set the tone by how you play, not by personal fouls that turn a 3rd and 1 into 3rd and 15 esp right after your team was just scored on.
