I liked watching Bray too. He has one hell of an arm.

I really enjoy watching Hurd and Kamara play.

I wanted to say Reggie White but I didn't get to watch him live in a vol uniform( that I was old enough to remember).

Seen him in the NFL so I vote that I get a pass on this one.

Reggie White

For crying out loud, Reginald White.....I actually forgot Reginald White!

Go put your nose in the corner till I can think of an evil enough punishment for you. Forgetting a Vol legend is blasphemy. Took me to page 4 so were both in trouble. Lol

Travis Cozart

I recall my anticipation of watching Travis Cozart. In both spring and fall camps, he was far and away a man among boys. Unfortunately he was not able to keep it out of the ditch, and never recorded a carry ( yet did eventually make an NFL roster briefly ).
Others I have really appreciated watching over the years include;
Robert Pulliam (early 70's DL)
Mickey Marvin ( long time Raider)
Lee North (long time Cowboy)
Mose Phillips
Ernest Fields
Charlie Garner
Pickens & Carter

This could go on forever, ......
Other short-timers whom I wish would have been able to complete their careers for various reasons include;

Billy Williams ( without question the fastest player I have ever seen in pads wear the orange. I don't care about clocked times, but rather with pads on and defenders looking to disrupt, this kid had speed beyond description)

Jerry Colquitt ( prior to the trip out west to LA, one smooth operator in what limited action we saw backing up Heath)

And the "all-time" what could have been; Chuck Webb

There's a sure difference in track speed and football speed. Watched a lot of track guys over the years that were tracked (pardon the pun) down by players with avg 40yd/100m times. Then like you say, guys with avg times that run like a cheetah with its butt on fire. That was Billy Williams.

KB and I were talking about T-Rob and my dads opinion of him being a major "cuda been" but without a doubt Webb is the biggest what if in my life as a vol. I truly believe if not for the injury there wouldve been Walker, Jackson, Webb, and then everybody else.

Having him and Cobb at the same time was the best backfield duo at UT IMO.

Happy to see Puki, Delong, and Condredge on your list KB, you've captured most of mine. One I don't see that makes my list would be the Crossville Comet, Curt Watson.
