Former Vol Orta in some trouble

Cox says he spent more than two weeks in the hospital, went through gall bladder surgery, had to have a new pacemaker installed, and suffered long-term nerve damage and emotional distress from the arrest.

But none of these health problems were a result of huffing cans of gas duster.

Wasn't this guy also in a lot of trouble while at UT? I seem to remember him being named in a rape investigation. It just makes me wonder how he ended up being hired on as a cop.

Had the same thought. I would think a background check would have disqualified him during the application process.

This is why every cop should undergo thorough thorough back ground checks and psychiatric testing before being allowed to serve. It happens everyday all over the country, and most of the time they get off without even a slap on the wrist
The background wouldn't show the incident because no charges were filed
