For those who think fans have no impact

Here ill try again to show im not trolling you. I'll ask a series of questions with no ill intent.

What was the impact on that game?
When was the last time neyland stadium looked like that at kickoff?
Do you think this thread will make everyone here be positive about what they see on the field?
Do you think a message board with anonymous posters has any effect on a players ability to catch a ball or block a player?
I do agree this message board and the comments made by posters doesn't effect a players ability to catch a ball or block a player. But do you not see where all this Negavol crap could influence a potential players decision to come here or not? If a player could truly not make his mind up where he wants to go and one team has fans dogging out the players and the other team doesn't I see how it could impact the future team and then the game. A great player cant make a play for our team if he is playing at GA.

Should we listen to sabans advice on signing players that have pending felony warrants for domestic violence?

Saban, as most college coaches, speak well of other programs and well of other coaches, even to the point of exaggerating or lying
Remember how Saban spoke well of Dooley. ( Dooley must be a good coach because Saban said so and also Dooley once ate lunch with Saban so that must mean that he will duplicate Dan and success)

Not on a site like this no. We are all anonymous posters. Find a message board to any team and you will find much the same. Heck there has been some documented awful abuse of alabama player in real public forums. Dont seem to hurt them at all.
Now, I would agree with you in mediums like fb, twitter and such where you can contact people directly. I have no social media accounts, but wouldnt dare do that even if I did. But again, it still happens every where.
What effects recruiting the most is play on the field, potential playing time, promises of certain positions, potential of getting drafted and the gameday experience.

Fans do have a impact. If it wasn't for Tennessee fans supporting the last 3 failed coaches we may have found a winner sooner. Moral of the story , let's get a sample size before we start wondering where the statue will be put.

Aren't you assuming the people who make the hires and fires of coaches are competent, accountable people? I don't particularly believe that our AD's, administration and most powerful donors in the past 14 years or so meet that criteria. Maybe we should have been a little more proactive about eradicating (if even possible) that motley crew of dummies.

Because he’s arguably the best college coach of all time. You ever listened to someone smarter talk to you? You’re bound to learn something. The main takeaway from his speech, IMO, is that players will feed off the fans vibes even if they have been successful. It’s kind of even more embarrassing for Alabama fan considering their success. Anyways, a lot of players came here to play in front of our fans every Saturday and when we’re bitching and moaning cause we didn’t take the number 3 team to the woodshed....yeah, that’s gonna reverberate well.

And no, I’m not trying to say the team can’t improve. Try not to put those words in my mouth. I’m just saying, the players can and will feed off our energy.

I never finish a post when the "anywayS" shows up in the comment.

Bana fans are bored. Their games aren't interesting anymore. Everyone knows they're gonna win by 3+ tds every game. What's the point.

Maybe they should remember the Shula days and pay attention to what is going on in Knoxville. It does not take long to go from dominate to the bottom of the barrel. Do not take the good times for granted

We'd be smart to pay attention to every word spoken by Saban, he is the coach we're going to have to beat one day. When someone is beating you, year in and year out, what they say can't be disregarded, like him or not, hate Bama or not, they are the best team in country. Knocking him, when we have little chance of beating him this year, makes us sound like poor sports. I suspect, if we could hire Saban, those knocking him, would be excited to get him.

He's also one of the most arrogant, narcissists to ever walk the planet. He's really good at coaching footballs. He's simply run out of **** to complain about.

It's just funny to think about how quickly Saban's act would wear thin in Tuscaloosa if he didn't win as much as he did. This isn't the first time he's gone after their fans, specifically students.

I must have someone on ignore because all I am getting is what seems is one poster arguing with an imaginary friend.

Check out what the demigod, Nick Saban, had to say, even with all their sucess

Saban has to manufacture controversy, outrage, indignation, and incredulity to keep his team motivated. The guys has nothing, absolutely nothing to be angry about and yet he’s continually trying to find reasons to pop off on somebody.

The man is a football coach. He's had a ton of success, but personally I could care less what he says or thinks. If your a fan, and you want to attend the games and scream your head off, have at it. If your point is to blame fans for the state of the UT football program, I just don't get it.

Ok, so the coach was upset because the fans didn't show up to a game?! What was their message other than not supporting their team because of an expected blowout win. I don't get the point being made. All they did was upset a coach for no understandable reason.
