Mississippi State? If so that can be somewhat excused considering we weren't back from winter break yet. But my point is we're getting better with the attendance. That's all that I'm trying to say.

Great, we can pack the house for UK. How'd we do for MSU.

it's typical for every team in any sport to have higher attendance for the bigger games and rivalry games. that being said, being able to fill TBA for anyone is quite an accomplishment.

Yeah, but I think now that we are at the end, a lot of us will look back wishing we would have attended more or specifically at all.

Was ETSU any good in basketball in 1991? Anyone know why a TB game with them in 1991 brought in almost 24,000? Just curious.

Yes, I remember them having an excellent team in '91. I think it was 1/2 Buc fans that year. Friends of mine that went to ETSU, granted I graduated college in '04 and most my friends around that time as well, always talk about that game.

ETSU was very good back then. they advanced to the Big Dance for the third year in a row. they had quite a bit of talent in Keith "Mister" Jennings, Calvin Talford, Gregg Dennis, and if memory serves, Jerry Pelphrey was on that team as well. At one point in that three year run they were even ranked.

Early in the UK game the other night, on TV, it did look like there were a fair number of empty seats in the upper deck. It is great to see that most of them were eventually filled.

I hear ya. I'm just saying it ain't much accomplishment to fill 'er up with UK in town. We'll have arrived when we can do so for the second tier teams as well.

I will say that I had tickets to the game but that was on a Sunday where there was like tornado watches and very bad thunder storms so I had a hard time justifying driving from Atlanta in that...just my :twocents:

You are right about arriving when we fill it up no matter who plays...other teams like Syracuse for example, have huge arenas as well and it seems to be filled up no matter what...

It's the students' fault that TBA is not full at all times?

Yes. Everything like that is the students' fault. The losses to LSU and Florida last year were your fault. You didn't have anything to do with the Cal win, so the rest of us will take credit for that.:dance2:

TBA relates to football wins?
