I know that I'm just contributing on the negative parade, but so many people that have never been there are really going to be pissed. There needs to be some logical discussion.
I have been fortunate enough to be able to attend multiple races there and to say that people are going to be surprised is putting it mildly. Yes, you can see crew members doing their work, but you can't tell who in the world they are if you're sitting on the other side of the track. You can just see colors on the uniforms.
I think there will be so many people to walk away from that game saying "never again." Also, once the reviews come back I don't think they will be able to sell it out again unless there is a Championship Game held there or two COMPLETELY different opponents with national followings. That's a maybe. I think this will likely be a one time thing.
There will be so many people to sit in their seats, look out, and just go "what the...?"..
That's not mentioning how the sound will be weird. It could actually be a bad atmosphere as far as crowd reaction and things like that. The crowd reactions could be delayed based on them trying to see the plays and then the sound also has to travel to your point of view.
It will be awesome to watch it on TV, and if you're there, to sit back and just take in the whole spectacle. Overhead shots will be awesome too, but once the game gets started it will definitely get interesting for the people there. You can say you were there though.
Traffic will be horrible too. There won't be nearly as many people that will be camping out compared to a NASCAR event. A lot of people will be driving in and out on the same day. Especially when compared to a NASCAR race.
