Florida State vs Stanford

Holy crap that was almost a massive choke by Stanford.
Almost a massive screw job by the officials. If they don’t screw up the clock on the Hail Mary, FSU likely doesn’t get another play off. But they had to pause and rest the clock, so it gave FSU time to get another snap off.

Wonder if that's gonna be the end of Norvell.

It certainly needs to be. That contract extension he got juuuuuusssssstttttt before FSU started sucking is the only thing saving his job the last two seasons.

I'm not even sure FSU could pay his buyout at this point.

That was definitely weird, he caught it with 2 seconds and then was tackled. I could have sworn they put in a rule a few years ago that there had to be at least 3 second left to get off another play or something like that, similar to college basetball having the rule that under 3 seconds you can't catch and shoot an inbound pass you can only tip it.

I also thought they were going to screw them on the replay, when it was clear to me no angle showed him clearly breaking the goal line so the game should be over. I was expecting them to say he did.

The three second rule is for spiking the ball. There have to be at least three seconds on the clock for you to be allowed to spike the ball.

In the basketball it's .3 seconds. Not 3 seconds.
