Florida found their QB

Dude is twice as good as Franks. Gonna be a long game next week I think.
Not even remotely. He loops his passes and makes his reads late. Kentucky helped him out with injuries in the secondary and bad play calling on offense. He’ll get better as time goes on but he’s not close to being better than Franks.

I have the beer cleaned up and the coffee table back in order now. I think I’m still in the dog house though

Trask seems intelligent and huge, with a big arm that can throw fast receivers open. For the life of me, I can't see what had Mullen starting Franks.

Hopefully we can get some breaks, but I am not at all optimistic about next Saturday. I just hope we can give them a solid kick in the teeth, that JG performs better than last year and stays healthy, along with our other key players.
Trask already has a degree so he must be a good Qb, wait ...

He faced an inexperienced secondary with the best safety ejected and that guy’s replacement injured. He got the benefit of 3rd and Chavis prevent zone defense with no pressure. We will man up on them...especially if Thompson gets to play.

We're going to get boat raced.

Gotta get to him with stunts and blitzes early.
I'm concerned about Darrell Taylor.....he hasn't had the push he ended last season with.
Bituli return should help Henry T......we'll be a month into the schedule and who has improved...
A couple freshman linebackers.........and a running back...and a couple freshman O lineman

It's 1 quarter and Kentucky chose to play soft coverage for some reason. Let's hope he got his little backup performance outta the way

Kentucky quit playing defense when Trask came in, he had all day to throw without any pressure. Franks was pressured the entire night. The few times Trask faced pressure he throw incompetions and nearly had 2 picked. Trask is also not very mobile, we simply have to get pressure on him and we have a good chance to force turnovers. GBO!!!!!

It will be interesting to see if we can avoid another fantastically creative way to lose to them. From phantom TD catches to multiple qb/center exchange fumbles I've seen it all over the years.

If they're better than us, fine. I just hope we don't hand them the game as we've done so many times before

I'd bring pressure early and often only way they're winning that game. Get a few turnovers and things could get interesting. You can't let him get comfortable.

This year the Florida game is get as ugly as it did last season.

JG is gonna throw probably 2 INTs. Those Florida D-backs are going to be whistling alllll week long knowing JGs favorite thing to do is to throw into double coverage.

Kentucky had a nose guard that was like a bull dozer...don't kid yourselves....kid just pushed his men or man into the QB.....Kentucky was shorthanded and still almost won...
We don't have anymore Chattanooga games left....

Toto I've got a feeling we're not in Chattanooga anymore. (Dorthy 1939 Oz film))

Trask will likely set some UF records for passing and/or rushing as a QB this coming Saturday. He’s a back-up (and we all know what we do for back-ups and opposing coaches in the “hot seat”). Also, we have no real pass rush, so he’ll have three or four millennia to make a pass with no pressure.

Plus, our offense will probably not sustain many drives, so our Defense will be tired from being on the field a lot.

Just being realistic here. I’m hopeful that all of this is wrong . . . but only a lunatic would feel confident that something different is likely to happen.

Everything went Trask way this game but why wasn't he starting? Possibly turnover prone? I always thought Franks gave the ball away under pressure, so could this guy maybe be worse? Seems like he threw 2 balls that could have been picked in less than a quarters playing time and making the option pitch when you are hit and going down is also a recipe for turnovers. It was successful last night but if thats your habit the ball is gonna be on the ground. He may turn out to be a great QB but I'm not gonna crown him based on 1 quarter. Go Vols!

I don't think Florida wins that game with Franks. Hate he got hurt and wish him a speedy recovery but Trask was much more efficient and he was improvising like a seasoned veteran. All the little things that Frank couldn't execute suddenly got better with Trask. It is a small sample size but so far so good.

Ky gave that game away more so than Florida won it. Pathetic. Them settling for running some clock and kicking a fg was so damn dumb. Florida had what looked like a goal line defense out in the field just praying that they’d run right into that wall. And they did. A pass over the top would’ve went for a td
