It's really not all that hard to hit wide open receivers.
Someone else noticed. The UF receivers were given huge cushions. Two ejections + injuries to the secondary pushed Stoops into some conservative football. When Carter got ejected, my sons said. “That guy is ripped”. That was a big loss.

Trask seems intelligent and huge, with a big arm that can throw fast receivers open. For the life of me, I can't see what had Mullen starting Franks.

Hopefully we can get some breaks, but I am not at all optimistic about next Saturday. I just hope we can give them a solid kick in the teeth, that JG performs better than last year and stays healthy, along with our other key players.

K-Y went zone and got killed. It seemed they actually played pretty decent man to man.

You need good line play and fresh bodies to defend like that, and the Cats ran out of kids. I'm not at all confident we can keep pace!

The hell it isn't. To quote Lee Trevino, "I would rather be lucky than good any day".

Trevino is a champion sh@t talker, and one of my favorites. While luck undoubtedly played a role in his career, he was also one of the all time range hounds, wearing dime- sized marks on the face of his clubs as he cycled through sets of irons.

Luck, hell.

“Targeting” is gonna kill football. I’m all for protecting defenseless players. Like everything else it’s going too far.

If Big Cat keeps his head up, game turns out different.

It sucks, but hopefully they change their technique as intended. Don't need another Chucky Mullins, God rest his soul.

I never said his career had anything to do with luck. I just quoted what he said about luck....Comprende?
