Pitt & UF look solid but Tennessee needs to step up and beat good competition. Otherwise we are East Mizzou hoping for weak competition and never a threat to UGA or Bama.

I know they've had a coaching change, but I thought they looked really overall similar to where they were early last season. Good offensively and vulnerable on defense. Of course we all know the wheels eventually fell off.

I think we're capable of making this one a 58-52 type of game. I hope we can find a way to somewhat contain Richardson. I believe we'll win by at least 10 if we can do it. That's a big IF.

Where was Richardson that game? Right, on the bench. Y’all are ready to name him the next Michael Vick and Johnny Manziel combined after one game. Utah was terrible at keeping contain from what I saw. Maybe Richardson will toast SEC teams too. We’ll see.

The Swamp was a huge advantage for Florida. It was hot and muggy as hell. Those Utah boys have never had to deal with those kinds of conditions. Give the Gators their due though …. They took care of business….even though they’re a bunch of A-holes

Or... Utah is a very well coached team that according to 247 would have the 13th most talented team if they played in the SEC. Their 705.12 rating is only better than Vandy. It is about 10 points behind Mizzou. By the same measure, they're the 6th most talented team in the PAC12.

To your point... if you are a UT fan and you are "hoping" at this point... I'd rather have my take than what yours apparently is.

Even if you divide by 3 to allow for FSU and MIA that is 20+. But being in the SEC and THE state university that should give them a leg up.

You're not accounting for other teams that recruit well in Florida but they should have a leg up against Miami and FSU

We should not be shocked by this. They only had one way to go compared to last season, and that was up. It would have been hard for them to have gotten worse.

Fair statement. I do think that Florida is alot better than most, including me, expected. But they did play a PAC-12 team, and while they’re really good they’re still PAC-12.

We have seen what happens to fundamentally sound PAC-12 teams with good skill players when they line up against the monsters that we have in the SEC when it comes to size and speed.

Florida will be a hard out this year regardless, but I’m not hitting the panic button just yet.

Until they show consistency on offense against someone with a pulse the last thing anyone wants is to trade scores. Utah traded scores and you saw how that ended. They wont completely stop Richardson but they must contain and limit the explosive plays. If Burrell shows he can’t consistently cover their receivers it’s time to make the call.

Did you watch the game? Dude made some pretty terrible throws and was bailed out on multiple occasions.

I don't know what projections are out there for a guy with barely any experience. But they are undoubtedly based purely on his overall skill.

UF should throttle UK this week (but really that will not tell us much more about them than the fact they beat a meh pac12 team). I'm not ready to anoint AR anything, there's a reason Mullen had him on the bench and I suspect we may find out why by mid season. Make AR beat you with his arm is his kryptonite.

UF and UT should both be undefeated for their game, should be exciting. Would definitely take the over on that game.
