‘23 FL OT Francis Mauigoa (Miami commit)

From Alabamas ON3 Site on their chances:
OL Francis Mauigoa (July 4): 20 percent
Alabama’s true standing in Francis Mauigoa’s recruitment is not clear. The belief is that Tennessee leads, with the Crimson Tide being potentially as high as No. 2.

We arrived at this number as we don’t envision Alabama coming out on top, but there’s reason for confidence.

If this recruitment comes down to relationships, then the Volunteers should win the Mauigoa Sweepstakes. Mauigoa has been heavily prioritized by the coaching staff, and is close with quarterback pledge Nico Iamaleava.

If development is what matters to him the most, however, then Alabama should be viewed as the school in the best position to land him. In a post-visit conversation with Mauigoa’s mother, Telesia, the Crimson Tide’s success — backed by statistics — is what caught their attention the most.

“They have a very productive, effective program,” Telesia Mauigoa said. “Looking at the data, the numbers, the statistics. They have the numbers to prove it. First Team All-American picks, conference championships, NFL Draft picks, and the graduating percentage.”

Also throw in the fact that Alabama has had a tremendous amount of success at IMG Academy, especially with five-star offensive linemen, and there’s legitimate reason for some optimism here.

Tennessee is the school we give the edge to now, but we’re not ruling out the Crimson Tide.

So if I read this all correctly… Every school thinks that they are a close second behind Tennessee in this one lol.
Yes. It’s essentially a carbon copy report except you plug the school the site is covering in as the one with some optimism but would still give the edge to Tennessee lol

Of course they can produce really good players… they recruit 5*s like Francis all the time. Any school could make him a top pick. I hate a school like bama gets all this praise for developing talent.. well duh, look at their recruiting rankings. If Heup had sabans roster, he would do the same thing
