Relatively new to getting attend games, watched them all but 2015 at Neyland vs UGA was my first.

My first visit to Neyland , I don't remember the year exactly, but it had to be around 1968 or 1969. Tennessee played Tulane, Curt Watson was the running back. Tennessee won handily.

1971 - Was it the Auburn game we lost in the last seconds by a score of 10-9? Everyone knew Pat Sullivan was going long to Terry Beasley. But they did it anyway. That was my first game - also freshman year. The kid next to me in the student section threw up in the second quarter and everyone around us moved away. Hey, more space for me. Just be careful where you put your feet.

Bama 1998.

I was a senior in HS and got to stay with a friend in the dorms that weekend.

Being on campus and getting the full experience, everyone knew we were going to stomp Bama. Ended up 35-18 I believe. They fought us hard, we were just so much better!

I appreciate that experience more and more the older I get.

01 UGA game. We lost but Travis Stephens was so fast

Ugh. That’s when we scored in the closing minutes and for some strange reason we kicked a pooch kick that allowed UGA to go down the field and score and win in the final seconds. Why on earth did Fulmer call for a pooch kick? Never made sense to me. That one was on him and third and Chavis for allowing GA to match down the field unstopped. We would have had an undefeated regular season that year were it not for that game. Love Fulmer but the two games we lost in 2001 were the result of poor game day adjustments.

Kentucky 1997. I believe we opened that game as an 11 point underdog (hard to believe) to Tim Couch’s Wildcats and then won by something crazy like, 38.

2000 Florida and the infamous "catch."
I was hooked during the pregame, and despised Florida by the second quarter.

October 1969 vs Georgia Tech, won by the Vols 26-8, led by Bobby Scott, Steve Kiner, Jack Reynolds, Chip Kell, Ken DeLong - those players
were larger than life among Vol nation, as a kid that was a special day

Nov 19th, 1994 versus Kentucky (I googled to make sure the date was correct). I was actually a Freshman at UT-Chattanooga in '94 but ran up to watch the freshman with the famous last name. It was a blow out and I loved every second of it.
