We need someone who understands this isnt no longer about living up to Pat. But the standards she stood for cant be forgotten. Kim may be the sweetest there is. But she isnt big enough for this job. They kinda need a coach that doesn't lose the ENTIRE roster at the end of a season.

Pat did not take over a cornerstone program of WBB. There was no case with all those national championship trophies to show to recruits. No best in class facilities. Etc. etc.
Trying to equate those two situations is like reporting the average weight of the animals in the zoo.

I fear DW doesn’t expect success and will use all of your points to give her another year beyond next year regardless of all the horrid new records set.

I said what I said BEFORE today's transpirings around the upcoming the portal.
ZERO....ZERO....ZERO players will return next year.
How many of the current recruits will try to bale out now too ???

Knowing now what I didn't know a few hours ago - Danny White needs to have a serious discussion with Caldwell about what players she is chasing in the portal, what recruits she has coming, and whether those players will fit and be productive on day one.

If anything comes out of her mouth other than 5 stars, high profiles, great fits, accountable players that ball out, she needs to go now.

Right there with you, but I don’t think Danny is having any type of discussion with her. She’s going ahead with visits, and the AD is radio silent as if nothing has happened.

Did she? As I’ve posted in another thread. The players quit on her and the team in February and we all seen it. Then March rolls around and they quit on the team and coach again. Now whether Asst. Coaches had anything to do with the “coup” to quit on CKC that’s yet to be confirmed. But it’s clear as day the players quit on the team.

Instant transfer, no sit out rule has changed everything last few years. I think about 6+ schools have lost > 80% of their players Iowa State maybe all. Some searching for money some not satisfied with playing time , some feelings got hurt. Its a easy choice if things get tough just divorce yourself from team and go gold dig if you are a wanted player, make that money before the real world.. Its the new game and its getting more so now that its super easy. A kid should be able to go an attend any school they want as long as it gets paid for by somebody.

The guy who said it on the radio said that 6 insiders around the program reached out to him about the assistant coaches sabotaging Kim. Any other questions?

What makes you so sure they quit? Is it because CKC said after the very embarrassing loss at SC that they would quit on her? That was the moment she threw them completely under the bus with the "they quit on me" comment.

Maybe they realized in that game that it was a lost cause and that the coaches on the sideline were not going to do anything to redirect them.

I just went back and rewatched that. It was bad, really bad.
