Why does Butch get to make the decision? If Butch has proven anything this far...its that he's a damn terrible decision maker.

As long as he's the HC...he gets to make those decisions. As every team not owned by Jerry Jones does it.

Butch is the smartest man when he is in the room. Just ask him. I got a feeling he is going to screw it up and when he does he will have sealed his fate.

OC is a vital job for the Vols....and any major program. That's why Kiffin was hired at Bama and now Sarkisian. Why DeBord would leave for some lame azz program like Indiana is beyond me. Must be more to this.

Probably because no one appreciates him here and he wants to b closer to family. I wouldn't be motivated to coach here if everyone ate me alive. He will probably get paid enough at Indiana.

Bo Hardegree, haven't heard that name since I was little. His dad coached at either USJ or JCM. Think it was the latter, he was offered for 5 star Daniel Brooks who ended up a total bust. What ever happened to ole Bo?

Just get Helfrich in there and hire Peyton to read the opposing defenses for him, and Gruden can bring them water when they are thirsty.

I don't see Tee making a unilateral move unless he is thinking he could potentially be the leading candidate for HC if Butch is fired next season. I personally don't see him making that move because if that ship goes down, Tee would probably like to be in a position to get the HC position and being in the sinking ship could botch it.. < 5% chance.

Helfrich would be a slam dunk hire but hearing Butch's comments about his offense tells me all I need to hear. We'll be talking new coach this time next season. He just doesn't learn from his mistakes.
