Finebaum Now

He needs to be let go. He was clearly trying to threaten and intimidate a group of people who went out of their way to help him.

“You don’t wanna see me without that badge”

“I remember faces. You go to UT don’t you? You’re gonna see me around”

“Where I’m from we shoot cops”

“I bet y’all so happy you get to go home and see y’all kids. Sometimes officers don’t make it home to see they kids”

“Wait till I get these cuffs off me”

Meanwhile no one is saying anything back to him. They just finished letting him make multiple phone calls, adjusting his cuffs for him, rolling his window down because he said he was hot. The nicest thing they did was not drug testing him. He should’ve been charged with DUI. No way you can watch the video and not think he’s high as a kite. After all those threats he tells them how nice they are, and then is right back to telling them how they’d piss their self without a badge.

It is time for the AD to require banks to have a drug test, under the Rules he has agreed to. The test should be called for under the stipulation:
observed abnormal appearance, conduct or behavior reasonably interpretable ass being caused by the use of prohibited drugs or substances. Among the indicators which may be in evaluating a student-athlete’s abnormal appearance, conduct or performance are: class attendance, significant GPA changes, athletic practice attendance, increased injury rate or illness, physical appearance changes, academic/athletic motivation level, emotional condition, mood changes and legal involvement. Reasonable suspicion screening, line 3

One positive thing that has come out of this, banks does seem to have a good grasp of English, and uses it well, his written statement attests to this. I think many across the country felt he was not capable to putting together one clear thought, he has prove all of them wrong. He did a great job with his heartfelt statement. The second positive thing to come out of this is, banks now has respect for Law Enforcement, and states so publicly! Now, here is a young man that is learning and growing while he studies/plays football at UT!
BANKS SAID:
“I want to sincerely apologize to my family, the University of Tennessee and the law enforcement community,” Banks said, “I deeply regret my language and attitude in the video. I have great respect for our police men and women, and I am embarrassed by my actions that night. That’s not who I am. I promise to be a better representative for the University of Tennessee moving forward.”

If anyone believes Banks wrote that statement, I've got a gold mine in my back yard I would like to sell real cheaply. The only reason I want to sell it is because I'm tried of getting rich.

Are you saying, you don't think that the fine young man, Mr. Banks wrote that statement, without help, or that he didn't write it at all? I thought it was heartfelt, but now that you point it out, maybe I was fooled-those crafty AD folks.....

Boro, you know there are programs out there that get this stuff cleaned up whether it be dirty or not.

There was a police officer on the Clemson University police force fired, a few years ago for doing something (it's been a number of years ago and I can't remember the incident) that made Clemson look bad in the eyes of the public).

I'm saying I don't think Banks wrote the statement at all, not one word of the comment. Listen to him on that video and tell me he was capable of writing the statement.

Harrison Bailey isn’t going to Georgia uncleblueeee! Pruitt isn’t going no where. GIVE IT UP!!

I just watched some of the video w/ Pruitt's comments. - so Pruitt is addressing Banks' comments as unacceptable!? hahaha... He gets paid how many hundreds of thousands of dollars a MONTH? - The UTAD pays you to show up and be a professional politician. yes. If you are on video, you are paid enough that you can pull your middle-of-the-night self together and not say things that embarrass the University. AND to have a respectful attitude to the police officers that are going OUT OF THEIR WAY to help you and be nice to you and your player.

Good night, Irene! Just when you start to believe that the dumpster fire might be dying down, you realize, we might not have been throwing water on it,... but buckets of confetti instead. That fire is still raging.

I wonder how he will be treated when he goes home and visits the we that shoot at cops. You cant say you respect cops in such places.

Well Finebaum started off show today with the news out of Knoxville. So far he is basically saying it is very disturbing from Banks and Pruitt. Should be a good show today
Why you people keeping watching/listening to this clown is beyond me

Anybody in their right mind knows that an arrest warrant has to be served.

“Why do you have to arrest him? Just because he has a warrant?”
100% WRONG. If the warrant is not valid in your jurisdiction you are not required to arrest.

For example, there is a warrant in County A for you and you get pulled over in County B. Officer runs your ID sees you have a warrant BUT County B is not required to arrest you because of the type of warrant.

County A will ask if county b is Will to extradite, of county b will put places they are willing to extradite from in ncic

Why do you let that guy live rent free in your head? Seriously, a guy who has a youtube channel and essentially a no body and you're worried about him. I'm not sold that Harrison Bailey is going to be the answer here, he's having an average Senior season. Tennessee needs to get another QB in this class and a grad transfer if they can.

I agree, Bailey is not the answer many believe him to be.

Did anyone watch John Adams on finebaum? If so, could I get a few highlights?

A lawyer wrote that, if I got a phone call and a two minute version of the facts, that's almost word for word, what I or any other lawyer with a PR background would have written. All Banks would have done is read it and sign it.

OD has a yearly catch phrase that he uses the entire year.
