I'm gonna print this out and highlight that comment in yellow to prove to Mrs Vercingetorix that I haven't been all this time on this orange-banded website for nothing. I am slowly accreting disciples, whom I'll eventually need to help establish discipline when I establish my world-dominating religion. She'll be proud.
:hi:
Dominance of size in leu of basketball skills and athleticism (I realize that doesn't necessarily go for his early career but it wasn't when he was winning rings) that said he made my top ten all time list
ok i think i understand....
and um, hope i didn't unintentionally somehow cross a line with that bump
Spoken like a guy who spent hundreds of dollars on Air Jordan shoes before Jordan won anything. Gotcha.
-Lebron is a tremendous athlete and ball player but has no midrange game and very little post up game, so saying he has a wider range of skills than anybody in history is a Stretch Armstrong stretch. He's a huge, strong, and fast athlete with great hands, anticipation, and feel that can finish at the rim as well as anyone ever has
-there was never a time where I heard MJ described as a rich man's Dominique and a sideshow character
So what. If a guy shoots 2 and makes 1, he's 50%. Lebron seldom shoots little fades and usually pushes to the rim rather than pulling up because he is a tremendous finisher.
He'll need to develop one and improve his post game. It's not a knock on him to say that he can improve in certain areas, though some thin skinned lebron fans think it is.
I knew it wouldn't be long until someone from ESPN compared Lebron to Jordan. JB should be fired for being the first. He is a great player but he has a long long way to go before being compared to the greatest. If Jordan didn't lose his mind and try baseball he would have won 8 in a row.
