Finals thread.

Who cares? I've followed Westbrook since he was at UCLA. Once he was drafted to OKC I was fan. Problem? Same thing with AI, I followed the 6ers for most of my life because of Iverson. Am I supposed to be a Grizzlies fan simpy because I live in Tennessee?? Cause I just moves here a couple years ago

So let's get this straight, you're *****ing at badwagon fans, but you switch teams because you follow a certain player and that's ok. Just wow

They'll keep Ibaka, maybe not Harden. We could go get Kevin Martin, or Kembra Walker. Either way I'm happy. And no we are good to go. Last year the Heat were Fianls virgins and it showed, same with OKC.

Neither of them is going to ever help a team win a championship.

I rode with AI too.

Then came D Wade.

Then Lebron.

And I'll be damned if they didn't end up on the same team.

What's a fan to do?

Are you talking to the heat bandwagoners or the thunder bandwagoners...cause there's a whole lot of both

Yep. I am/was a Thunder bandwagoner in their series against the Heat.

Now? I could take em or leave em.

Either way, **** the Heat and the guy who rejoiced in being called "King James" when he hadn't won a damn thing. Congrats on your first "King".

Michael says hi with 6.
Kobe says hi with 5.

Lol. I didn't mean "Lebron haters" towards you, cuz I know you really do love him.

Who's your favorite player?

Are you a nut hugger?

The team "hater" has been thrown around so much a kid with $21 could call you a hater for 'getting money'

I'm the biggest Jordan fan there is but he still needed Pippen and one of the greatest rebounders of all time in Rodman

While the Bulls were no championship team without Jordan, they certainly were not shabby without Jordan (they won a playoff series while Jordan was playing for the Barons and Pippen finished 3rd in the MVP vote).

I would say that Jordan had as much help around him as LeBron.

The Cavs were extraordinary with LeBron as well.

But you seem have a problem with individuals that have followed LeBron? That makes sense.

Heat fans love the Heat 'cause they have Wade, Bron and Bosh. I've followed the Thunder since they were 22 - 50. Just wow

Because small market teams win titles all the time. Give me a break.

People like act there are a litter of great players in the NBA just waiting to team up with others. I got news for you, they are few and far between. Not only that but how many teams have a destination city and and can clear the cap room to do what Miami did.

What they did wont be duplicated.

In the past they have, but now that the colluded superteam formula has proven to be a winner, I imagine we've seen the last of it.

Maybe not next year or the year after, but pretty soon the teams in the destination cities will plan for and work their cap room/contracts such that it will easily be possible. It's not that difficult to know what big name free agents will be available and when, and then plan accordingly. And unlike the NFL which punishes collusion with fines or loss of draft picks, the NBA doesn't really seem to care. Most of these deals could be worked out years in advance as long as the league turns a blind eye.

You'll see the Bulls, Knicks, Heat, Lakers and maybe a couple other teams fielding superteams full of guys in their primes that the other 25 teams drafted and developed for them.
